Leeds United full player ratings for FIFA 21
Halfway through the 2020/21 Premier League season, Leeds United are sitting comfortable in the table and look set to secure another campaign in the top flight.
They have already taken points off Manchester City, Everton, Leicester and Arsenal in their return to the Premier League after a 16-year exodus.
Their promotion last summer also meant that Leeds are back in the Premier League automatically on FIFA for the first time since FIFA 2004, giving fans the opportunity to play in the top flight without having to go through a season of Championship action first.
But how does Leeds’ Premier League squad shape up in FIFA 21? Who are the players making their current four-star rating?
We’ve got you covered. Read on for Leeds’ FIFA 21 player ratings and stats in full.
Squad list is based on players in latest downloadable update at time of publication (18:30 on 04/02/2021).
Leeds’ FIFA 21 ratings: Goalkeepers
Starting with the goalkeepers, Leeds’ squad is slacking behind the rest of the Premier League, with their highest-rated shot-stopper coming with an overall of 73. But that works as evidence of their campaign so far, with Illan Meslier starting FIFA 21 with an overall of 69 – growing by four with his form so far. He’s moved one ahead of Kiko Casilla, who has had to play second fiddle and dropped from his initial overall of 74.
Leeds goalkeeper ratings for FIFA 21: Illan Meslier (73), Kiko Casilla (72), Elia Caprile (60).
Leeds’ FIFA 21 ratings: Defenders
One of Leeds’ new signings last summer was Diego Llorente, and the Spaniard flew straight in as the club’s top defender with an overall of 76. Despite playing just twice in the league so far, Llorente is one of Leeds’ default starting centre-backs, alongside Liam Cooper (74) and ahead of another new signing Robin Koch (also 76-rated). FIFA 21 also gives Leeds fans a chance to use 70-rated defender Gaetano Berardi should they so wish. The one-cap Swiss international’s contract with Leeds ran out in the summer but he signed a one-year extension, with the club sticking by him through an ACL injury, and for now, he is theirs on FIFA 21. Leeds also have A LOT of depth in defence.
Leeds defender ratings for FIFA 21: Diego Llorente (76), Robin Koch (76), Luke Ayling (75), Liam Cooper (74), Stuart Dallas (74), Ezgjan Alioski (72), Gaetano Berardi (70), Pascal Struijk (65), Leif Davis (64), Ouasim Bouy (61), Cody Drameh (61), Oliver Casey (60), Charlie Cresswell (57).
Leeds’ FIFA 21 ratings: Midfielders
The latest squad update has also inflated Leeds’ midfield depth with Kalvin Phillips no longer their top midfielder in FIFA 21. Instead, that accolade goes to Rodrigo and Raphinha (both 81), two summer arrivals who were initially listed in their forward positions before their roles in Bielsa’s team where changed. Rodrigo (now a CAM) and Raphinha (RM) are joined by Phillips and six other midfielders rated 70 and over, including Jack Harrison (74) who is still on loan from Manchester City. Ian Poveda has also enjoyed a lovely boost of five from his initial rating.
Leeds midfielder ratings for FIFA 21: Rodrigo (81), Raphinha (81), Kalvin Phillips (78), Pablo Hernandez (75), Mateusz Klich (75), Jack Harrison (74), Helder Costa (74), Adam Forshaw (70), Tyler Roberts (70), Ian Poveda (67), Jamie Shackleton (66), Liam McCarron (57).
Leeds’ FIFA 21 ratings: Forwards
Rodrigo and Raphinha being turned into midfielders means that 74-rated Patrick Bamford is Leeds’ highest-rated forward on FIFA 21. The Englishman has had an excellent season so far, and sees his overall rise from an initial 74, but the depth in attack is poor for fans wanting to use Leeds this year. If they’re your Career Mode team, you’ll either need to use Rodrigo in attack or buy someone if you want to make a title push.
Leeds forward ratings for FIFA 21: Patrick Bamford (74), Crysencio Summerville (67), Jay-Roy Grot (63), Joe Gelhardt (62), Sam Greenwood (60).
