Wolves to continue unbeaten run against Fulham

After starting the season looking like they were going to be in a relegation battle, Wolves are now battling it out in the top half of the table for a possible European spot. Six wins from their last nine Premier League games (D1 L2), including victories over Chelsea (home and away) and Tottenham has seen them shoot up the table and solidify their spot in the top half of the table.

At home they have picked up six wins, three draws and four defeats, but have lost just two of their last 11 at Molineux in the Premier League (W6 D3) and beaten the likes of Manchester City, Tottenham and Chelsea on home soil.

Fulham meanwhile, took all three points in their previous game on the road and ended a run of 11 games without an away win in the Premier League as they recorded their first victory in any competition against Manchester United since 2009. Alex Iwobi struck in the 97th minute, as he became the first Fulham player to score the winner at Old Trafford since Steed Malbranque in October 2003 as the Cottagers finally tasted victory away from home for the first time since the opening day of the season against Everton.

They have a poor recent record against Wolves however, failing to win any of the last seven meetings between the two sides and picking up just two victories in the last 17 head-to-head meetings.

Wolves vs Fulham match tip

Joao Palhinha 5+ tackles

Joao Palhinha’s love of making tackles sometimes gets him trouble, having picked up 10 yellow cards this season, but it has also seen him make more tackles than any other player in the Premier League this season. The Portuguese midfielder has made 5+ tackles in 12 of his 21 league starts so far this campaign and we are backing him to make it 13 against a Wolves side full of tricky forwards.

Wolves vs Fulham odds

*Odds correct as of 17:45 on February 26

Wolves go into this game as slight favourites with home advantage having won three of the previous five meetings between the two sides (D2) and Fulham’s poor away form that has seen them pick up just two wins away from Craven Cottage so far this season.
