Brighton vs Leicester prediction, odds, tips and team news

Brighton and Leicester City go head-to-head in the Premier League on Saturday, 12th April, at 3pm (UK time). The match will not be broadcast live in the United Kingdom. Find our best bets below, including a 16/1 Bet Builder that can be backed at Sky Bet or bet365.
Brighton to win to Nil (11/10 with William Hill)
Brighton have won three of their last four home league matches at the Amex, with victories over Chelsea, Bournemouth and Leicester. The main angle here is how utterly woeful Leicester have been over the last couple of months. The Foxes have been beaten in nine consecutive league outings, with their latest defeat coming in a 3-0 hammering at home by Newcastle on Monday evening. Leicester have failed to score in eight of those nine defeats and taking the odds-against offering of 11/10 with William Hill looks the wise play considering the away side’s lack of goals.
Joao Pedro Anytime Assist & Wilfred Ndidi to be carded (16/1 with Sky Bet)
Joao Pedro is Brighton’s joint-top scorer with eight league goals this season and is priced around even money to make that nine against Leicester. The Brazilian also leads the way for Brighton when it comes to assists, and backing him in that market looks the better value proposition with 3/1 on show. Pedro has six league assists, and with his side expected to rack up the goals on Saturday, he looks a solid price.
Combining Joao Pedro to assist, with Wilfred Ndidi to be carded pays 16/1 with both Sky Bet and bet365. The 28-year-old has found his way into the book in six of 22 league appearances this season, including in two of his last three outings.

How both teams go into Brighton vs Leicester
After a rough end to January/start to February, Brighton got back on track with 13 points from a possible 15 in the Premier League and a 2-1 win over Chelsea in the FA Cup. The Seagulls have since exited the cup on penalties against Nottingham Forest but, and suffered back-to-back league defeats, with losses against Aston Villa and Crystal Palace. Fabian Hurzeler’s side are ninth in the standings and this is the perfect chance to get back to winning ways.
Things couldn’t be much worse for Leicester, who have lost each of their last nine Premier League matches, scoring just one goal in the process. The Foxes are 19th with just 17 points from 17 matches in what has been a miserable campaign.
Brighton team news
Igor is out for the season, and we’re not likely to see James Milner, Adam Webster, Ferdi Kadioglu, Jason Steele, or Tariq Lamptey again until May. Joel Veltman has an ankle injury, and Jan Paul van Hecke is suspended.
Leicester team news
Abdul Fatawu is out until August. Facundo Buonanette is unavailable to play against his parent club, while there is no current return date for Harry Winks with an ongoing disciplinary matter.
