Colombia vs Portugal Bet Builder Tips: Back goals and cards in 7/1 tip

In the early hours of Sunday morning, Group K concludes with Colombia and Portugal battling it out for top spot in Miami. Avoid defeat and La Tricolor remain first, but a Portugal win sees them leapfrog the South Americans to win the group. With all that in mind, check out our Colombia vs Portugal bet builder tips below.

Both teams to score

Colombia and Portugal both excel in attack, with the pair scoring four and five goals at this tournament so far. The talents of Luis Diaz, Jhon Arias, James Rodriguez and Luis Suarez come up against Pedro Neto, Bruno Fernandes, Joao Felix and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The pair have netted in both of their group outings in North America already, but have also conceded to weaker opposition in DR Congo and Uzbekistan elsewhere in Group K.

Over 2.5 goals

For the same reasons, both defences could find it to be a difficult assignment, and hopefully this game proves to be the goal-laden affair we know it can be. Roberto Martinez’s side put five past Uzbekistan in their last match, while Colombia struck them for three also in their tournament opener.

These two operate quite similarly, relying on individual talent and dangerous wing play to create attacking opportunities. Defence will be the last priority for either one, meaning this could very easily open up and become a basketball match.

Jefferson Lerma to be carded

Finally, Premier League fans will know this name all too well. Card backers in particular have had plenty of juice out of Jefferson Lerma in the past, with the midfielder racking up an abundance of yellows and reds during his time with Bournemouth and now Crystal Palace.

The 31-year-old has started both of Colombia’s matches, conceding two free-kicks in their opener before being cautioned in the 1-0 win over DR Congo last time out.
