Best Bets & Predictions

Our PredictionOdds & BookmakerConfidenceWhy We’re Backing It
Gyokeres to score 2+ goals16/5 @ Paddy Power
(3.3%)
⭐⭐It’s impossible not to envisage Arsenal coming out on top here, and with goal difference a potential factor in the title race, I expect the hosts to rack up the goals on Monday. Vikto Gyokeres has been in excellent form over the last few months, and at The Emirates, he has scored six goals across his last six top-flight appearances. Gyokeres managed a brace in two of those, against Sunderland and Fulham. At 16/5 with Paddy Power, back him to bag another brace against Burnley.
Kyle Walker to be carded5/1 @10bet
(16.7%)
⭐⭐⭐Kyle Walker is worth considering in the player cards market, with 10bet going a best price of 5/1 at the time of writing. The defender has already picked up nine bookings in 33 starts this season, averaging 0.27 cards per 90. At Manchester City, he only collected 24 bookings across eight full seasons, showing a large increase since moving to Burnley. Walker could be up against Eberechi Eze on Monday, giving plenty of appeal to the 5/1 on show for Walker to be carded.

How both teams go into Arsenal vs Burnley

Arsenal sit just two wins away from Premier League glory and know victories against Burnley and Crystal Palace will secure a first title in 22 years. The Gunners have steadied themselves after a sticky spell and head into this one with momentum, having strung together three straight league wins to put themselves in control of the race.

Burnley arrive already relegated and short on confidence after a difficult run of results. Arsenal should be expected to take advantage at the Emirates Stadium, where their attacking form has remained strong and the gap in quality between the sides is clear.

Burnley showed some resilience in last Sunday’s 2-2 draw with Champions League chasing Aston Villa, but they face a far tougher test at the Emirates Stadium. The Clarets will need a major improvement to trouble Arsenal, especially given the Gunners’ recent home form and control in possession.

There is some history to lean on, though, with Burnley keeping clean sheets and taking four points from their last three visits to Arsenal. Even so, replicating that record will require a level of defensive discipline and efficiency that has been inconsistent across their season.

Arsenal team news

Mikel Arteta has a clear issue to solve in the closing weeks of the season at right-back, with Ben White ruled out for the rest of the campaign and Jurrien Timber still unavailable. Cristhian Mosquera is expected to step in again to fill the gap, while Martin Odegaard is pushing for a start after making an impact off the bench at West Ham.

Burnley team news

Burnley’s injury situation is beginning to improve, with most of the squad now available for selection. Jordan Beyer remains out for the season, while Josh Cullen and Connor Roberts are still sidelined as the only notable absentees.

Head-to-Head: Last 6 Meetings

Arsenal have dominated this fixture recently, winning five of the previous six encounters and conceding just one goal in the last three. Here’s how the latest results stack up:

Conclusion: Can Burnley Upset the Odds?

No, we don’t fancy an upset here and it should be a routine win for Arsenal. In terms of seeking value from the betting markets, we like the look of Gyokeres to score two or more goals at 16/5 with Paddy Power, or Kyle Walker to pick up his tenth card of the campaign at 5/1.
