Pedro Porro’s 2025/26 Premier League season brought 34 appearances for Tottenham Hotspur, 32 of them starts, across 2,798 minutes on the right flank. Here is how his numbers break down.

Defensive Contributions

Porro carried a healthy defensive workload down the right. He attempted 75 tackles across the campaign and won 50 of them, a success rate of two in three. Add 31 interceptions and 102 clearances, and the volume points to a full-back who stays busy without the ball. He also came out on top in 139 individual duels.

There is a caveat, though. Porro was dribbled past 38 times, one of the higher figures for his position, which hints at the odd vulnerability when he is isolated one-on-one. On balance, the tackle and interception returns still mark him as a willing, active defender rather than a liability, even if the flank behind him can be exposed on the turn.

Attacking & Chance Creation

This is where Porro earns his corn. He created eight big chances and fashioned 53 chances in total, numbers that mark him out as a genuine creative outlet from right-back. His delivery was constant, too, with 173 open-play crosses, of which 38 found a teammate.

More telling still is his territory. Porro played 336 passes into the final third and a hefty 270 into the penalty area, elite volume for a defender and proof of how far he pushes Spurs up the pitch. The one gap is end product. Just two assists is a modest return for a player creating this much, and that owes as much to finishing as to his own delivery. As a source of width and penetration, though, he remains one of the division’s more dangerous full-backs.

Ball Progression & Work Rate

In possession, Porro is ambitious rather than safe. He completed 1,037 open-play passes at 75.1% accuracy, a figure that reflects the risk in his game as much as anything. He is not a full-back who recycles sideways; he would rather thread the ball forward. He completed 19 dribbles, though his 43.2% take-on success suggests those runs are a mixed bag.

His 646 losses of possession look steep at first glance. In truth, they are the by-product of how often he takes the ball in tight, advanced areas. Off the ball, he regained possession 79 times in his own third and another 45 in midfield, a fair marker of his work rate getting back. In short, Porro is a progressive, front-foot right-back who trades the occasional turnover for real attacking threat.
