Daniil Medvedev was sent packing by world No172 Thiago Seyboth Wild in one of the shocks of the opening round at the 2023 French Open.
One of the players of the ATP season so far, Medvedev went into the second Slam of the year with titles in Rome, Miami, Rotterdam, Dubai and Doha already under his belt.
But Brazilian qualifier edged a marathon match in just over four hours to stun the world No2 and advance in the main draw of a Grand Slam for the first time in his career.
