Tottenham Hotspur have decided to relieve Thomas Frank of his duties as head coach following Tuesday night’s 1-2 home defeat to Newcastle, which saw their winless run stretch to eight games in the Premier League.
The former Brentford manager, who replaced Ange Postecoglou in the summer, made a strong start at Spurs through six wins, three draws, and just the one defeat from his opening 10 Premier League, Champions League, and Carabao Cup games.
However, since then Spurs have really struggled for consistency away from the Champions League and have slipped to 16th in the Premier League. As a result, fans had grown impatient at the lack of progress and what they deemed to be negative tactics from the Dane.
The defeat to the Magpies at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Tuesday night leaves the Lilywhites just five points clear of the drop zone and was considered the final straw for the Spurs board, who will now turn their attentions elsewhere. Check the latest odds below.

Odds correct as of 11:15 on 11/02/2026.
John Heitinga: 8/11
John Heitinga moved to Tottenham to join the first-team coaching staff just a few short weeks ago and looks best placed to take over on a caretaker basis for the immediate future, which could give him the opportunity to impress.
The former Everton defender endured a torrid spell in charge of his boyhood club Ajax earlier this season, but the centre-back will be hoping to put that spell behind him if given the chance to take charge of Spurs for the foreseeable future.
Roberto de Zerbi: 6/4
Perhaps a circumstantial link given that Roberto de Zerbi left Marseille just a short time before Thomas Frank’s departure from Tottenham Hotspur was confirmed, nonetheless the former Brighton & Hove Albion manager does feel like a potentially strong fit for Spurs.
While it’s been a difficult few weeks for the Italian at L’OM following Champions League heartbreak and a 5-0 defeat to rivals PSG in Ligue 1, he still has a reputation for an intense, high pressing style of football and Spurs fans would certainly be more excited by the style of play under him than they were under Thomas Frank.
Robbie Keane: 5/1
A legend during his playing days at Tottenham Hotspur, Robbie Keane is forging a reputation for himself as a head coach on the continent at Ferencvaros, where he won the Hungarian title last year having Israeli Premier League with Maccabi Tel Aviv
Although the 45 year old is probably not seen as a big enough name as a coach just yet, his record of 91 goals in 238 Premier League appearances for the Lilywhites will ensure that he’d be a popular hire among the fanbase from the word go.
Mauricio Pochettino: 7/1
Surely the most popular hire for the Tottenham Hotspur hierarchy would be a return for Mauricio Pochettino, who led the club to a second-placed finish in the Premier League in 2018 and a Champions League final in 2019.
The Argentinian is currently in charge of the USA national team so may not be available until after the World Cup, but supporters would surely welcome him back with open arms should the opportunity arise.
Marco Silva: 11/1
Marco Silva has done a very solid job at Fulham over the last four and a half years having led the Cottagers back to the Premier League in his first full season before establishing them as a regular top-tier side without any real threat of relegation in the last few seasons.
Fulham broke their previous Premier League record points tally with 54 last season as they finished 11th and they sit in a comfortable 12th position this time around. Though probably not an appointment to get pulses racing, the Portuguese boss could be a sensible hire for Spurs.
Oliver Glasner: 20/1
Oliver Glasner has drifted out to 6/1 to replace Thomas Frank at Spurs. The Austrian manager has earned widespread admiration from Crystal Palace fans for his impressive achievements, which includes beating Man City in the FA Cup final and Liverpool in the Community Shield.
Having already confirmed that he will not sign a new contract at Selhurst Park and thus will leave the Eagles this summer, Glasner’s next destination remains to be seen but his side’s form so far this season may have cooled interest in him somewhat – as could the embarrassing FA Cup defeat to sixth-tier Macclesfield FC.
