The Boston Celtics and Miami Heat vie for a place in the NBA Finals at TD Garden on Tuesday (1.30am BST).
The Heat moved to the brink of being crowned Eastern Conference winners having raced to a 3-0 lead in the series, including two wins in Boston in the first two matchups.
The second victory was a big one too, as Miami overcame a nine-point deficit in the final quarter to take the game 111-105, inspired by Jimmy Butler’s 27 points.
However, the Celtics refused to lie down and reduced the deficit to 3-2, before Derrick White’s last-gasp effort snatched a narrow 104-103 win in Game 6 to rescue them from the brink of elimination.
If Boston do turn this around, they will have done something never seen before in NBA play-off history: win a series after going 3-0 down.

Miami Heat vs Boston Celtics prediction
A very familiar playoff matchup, Boston and Miami are going head to head in the Eastern Conference finals for the third time in four years.
The Heat trailed by 13 points late in the second quarter of Game 1, but scored a franchise playoff record 46 points in the third to completely turn the contest on its head. Jimmy Butler led the way with 35 points along with seven assists and six steals.
The eighth seeds hit 16-of-31 from beyond the arc as they became only the fifth franchise to win Game 1 on the road for a third successive series.
Boston were hurt again by late-game woes in Game 2. They appeared poised to level this series, but another collapse saw the 17-time NBA champions lose 111-105 and left them staring at a 2-0 deficit.
That was then extended to 3-0 in Miami’s favour, leaving the Celtics’ chances of progression standing on a knife edge.
Boston rallied to win Game 4 in Miami, Jayson Tatum scoring 33 points (25 in the second half), 11 rebounds and seven assists.
Derrick White was the man in Game 5 with 24 points to keep Boston’s hopes alive before, in Game 6, becoming only the second player in NBA history – after a certain Michael Jordan – to hit a buzzer-beater with his team trailing and facing elimination.
The Denver Nuggets awaits the victor of this matchup in the NBA Finals and, given their momentum after a simply stunning fightback, you would fancy it to be the Celtics.
