FA Cup third-round draw: Arsenal to host Liverpool and Newcastle face derby rivals Sunderland

The draw for the third round of the FA Cup has been made, with the big guns ready to join this season’s competition. 

The oldest tournament in club football was won by Manchester City last season, as part of their history-making treble. They have been installed as favourites for the new season, with the bookies backing Pep Guardiola to lead his side to glory, once again.

732 teams entered the competition, with the third round set to take place in January.

2023-24 FA Cup Third Round draw

The third round of this season’s FA Cup was drawn on Sunday, December 3rd, with the likes of holders Manchester City, last season’s runners-up Manchester United, and the competition’s most successful team Arsenal all finding out who they’ll begin their charge to Wembley against.
