The Champions League last-16 draw has produced some absolute crackers as the competition heats up.

The six Premier League clubs have each discovered their fate in the round of 16, with Manchester City taking on old foes Real Madrid, Newcastle clashing with Barcelona, and Chelsea locking horns with PSG.

We’ve delved into more detail below, looking at the full eight ties, the road to Budapest, and the latest odds to lift the trophy.

Champions League last-16 draw in full

Here are the eight Champions League ties we can look forward to in the last-16 of the competition:

  • Manchester City vs Real Madrid
  • Bodo/Glimt vs Sporting CP
  • PSG vs Chelsea
  • Newcastle vs Barcelona
  • Galatasaray vs Liverpool
  • Atletico Madrid vs Tottenham
  • Atalanta vs Bayern Munich

When are last-16 ties?

The last-16 first-leg ties will take place on 10th and 11th March, followed by the return fixtures the following week on 17th and 18th March. The exact date for each tie has yet to be confirmed.

  • Quarter-finals: 7/8 & 14/15 April 2026
  • Semi-finals: 28/29 & May 5/6 April 2026
  • Final: Saturday 30th May 2026

What are the potential quarter-final match-ups?

The road to Budapest has been mapped out, meaning we also now know who each club could come up against in the quarter-finals of the competition:

  • PSG or Chelsea vs Galatasaray or Liverpool
  • Real Madrid or Manchester City vs Atalanta or Bayern Munich
  • Newcastle or Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid or Tottenham
  • Bodo/Glimt or Sporting CP vs Bayer Leverkusen or Arsenal

Looking ahead to the semi-finals, one side of the bracket will feature a showdown between either PSG, Chelsea, Galatasaray or Liverpool and one of Real Madrid, Manchester City, Atalanta or Bayern Munich.

On the opposite half of the draw, a club from Newcastle, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid or Tottenham will meet one of Bodo/Glimt, Sporting CP, Bayer Leverkusen or Arsenal for a place in the final.
