    Top-level international football returns this winter with the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. And we have all the details about the matches and results.

    Morocco are the hosts of the competition, which kicked off on 21st December 2025 and runs until 18th January 2026. They’ll be hoping to follow in the footsteps of defending champions Ivory Coast, who won as hosts last time out.

    And Morocco are the favourites, with record-winners Egypt also expected to put up a fight. Ivory Coast are slightly less fancied to retain their crown. There hasn’t been a successful Afcon defence since Egypt won three in a row between 2006 and 2010.
