Lecce vs Juventus predictions for today’s 5pm (UK time) kick-off at the Stadio Via del Mare back Juventus to win to nil at 13/10, with our score prediction Lecce 0-1 Juventus.
Anthony Eadson’s Lecce vs Juventus predictions, best bets and score prediction are below.
Premium Tips
We have landed on two best bets for Via del Mare, one on the outcome and one on the temperature of the game. Here is our thinking.
| Premium Tip | Odds | Why we’re backing it |
|---|---|---|
| Juventus to win to nil | 13/10 (William Hill) | Juventus arrive wounded after that Lazio defeat, but the short away price still makes sense to us. The Turin side have kept three clean sheets in seven league games this season, and they won this exact fixture 1-0 at Via del Mare last May. Lecce, for all their honest effort, have been shut out in three of their seven Serie A outings and carry one of the division’s lighter attacks. We expect the visitors to control the ball, limit the hosts to half-chances and edge the points without conceding. At 13/10, Juventus to win to nil reads as the smarter way to back the favourites. |
| Over 5.5 match cards | 7/2 (BoyleSports) | Our second pick leans into the mood of the occasion rather than the scoreline. Lecce sit 12th and are scrapping for every point near the lower reaches, while Juventus turn up under real pressure after a chastening home league loss to Lazio and a midweek draw with Rennes. Italian top-flight meetings of this type rarely pass by quietly, and a tense, physical contest between two sides short of goals tends to pile up fouls and bookings as it stretches on. With little between the teams likely on the day, we fancy the referee to stay busy. Over 5.5 match cards at 7/2 appeals as a punchy extra on the side. |

How Lecce go into the game
Lecce could hardly have responded better to a rough spell, thumping Udinese 3-0 on the road last time out after losing 2-1 at home to Bologna the week before. Earlier defeats to Milan and Roma leave them 12th on nine points, with three wins and four losses from seven. The hosts can clearly hurt teams in transition, but tightening up at the back has been the issue, and they have shipped 12 goals already this term.
Home form, though, carries a warning. Lecce beat Monza on their own patch but were picked off 4-0 by Roma and 2-1 by Bologna at Via del Mare, conceding at least twice in each of their three home league games so far. Against opponents of Juventus’s quality, that leakiness is the obvious worry, even with a counter-attack that can punish slack defending.
How Juventus go into the game
Juventus drew 2-2 with Rennes in the Europa League on Thursday, days after a 3-0 home humbling by Lazio, their heaviest setback of a stop-start campaign. Before that they drew 1-1 at Cagliari and saw off Atalanta 2-0, and they sit eighth on 11 points from seven games. Goals have been scarce at both ends: the Turin side have managed just nine and conceded eight, and they have scored once or fewer in four of their seven league outings.
The pressure on the group is obvious after the Lazio result, and the away response will be telling. On the road they have mixed a win at Frosinone with defeat at Sassuolo and a draw at Cagliari, so this is no gimme. Even so, a defence that has kept three clean sheets and a clear edge in quality make them deserved favourites to leave Puglia with the points.

Lecce vs Juventus score prediction
Everything points to a controlled, low-scoring away win. Juventus should have the defensive solidity and extra class to see off a willing Lecce without being troubled too often, even if they remain short of fluency going forward. We will take a narrow Juventus victory to nil. Score prediction: Lecce 0-1 Juventus.
