Jose Mourinho: Why Jurgen Klopp & Pep Guardiola have it so good

Jose Mourinho has suggested Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola are in privileged positions at Liverpool and Manchester City as they are repeatedly backed by their employers.
The former Manchester United manager spoke of how Klopp has been given the confidence to move forward by Liverpool despite failing to win any trophies at the club to date.

Last summer, Mourinho complained after United failed to bring in the centre-backs he believed the team needed. He was sacked in December after a disastrous start to the season.
And the Portuguse coach admitted he is made jealous by the kind of backing Guardiola has received since arriving at Manchester City.
“I would love to go to a club and be able to do, for example, what Jurgen and Pep have done,” Mourinho said, via Marca.

“If you look at the team with which Liverpool started with into the game today – against Barça – how many players were there before Klopp arrived?
“When Pep was not happy with the back four, that summer he bought four new ones he liked. And when he moved for Claudio Bravo, then he was not happy with it, the next season City bought Ederson.”
Mourinho then moved on to Klopp, hinting the German may not have been afforded the same level of patience at another club.
“I would love to go to a club and be able to do, for example, what Jurgen and Pep have done.”
“Jurgen is at the club and he does not win at all for three and a half years and he still has the confidence and the conditions to move forward,” Mourinho added.
“They have a great opportunity to do so this season, but it would be the first time they won a title.”
Since his sacking from Old Trafford last year, Mourinho has been working as a pundit, claiming he will only return to management if a vacancy at an elite club becomes available.
The 56-year-old has now suggested he must know the objectives of a club before he accepts any role in the future.
He said: “I said before that for my next job, I will not have conversations with a club without knowing what it wants and what it offers in terms of structure and objectives.”
