With especially appetising fixtures for Luton and Liverpool this weekend — and Aston Villa hosting a hit-and-miss Manchester United side — it might be a good time to consider our suggestions as you battle for mini-league bragging rights.
Alex Moreno vs Manchester United (H), £5.1m
2.1% ownership
Aston Villa’s Alex Moreno was one of the star performers for Gameweek 23, with a goal, clean sheet and two bonus points seeing him into the Team of the Week. He remains a big differential too at 2.1% owned and has scored two goals from three big chances this season.
Aston Villa have kept two clean sheets in their last three games and have only lost once at home this season. Opponents Manchester United’s form has been mixed and they’ve failed to score in three of their last five games on the road.
Luis Diaz vs Burnley (H), £7.4m
7.9% ownership
Now is absolutely the time to invest in Liverpool assets with Burnley at home this weekend, followed by an attractive Double Gameweek 25 against Brentford and Luton Town. The best differential to consider in their midfield is Luis Diaz, who has three attacking returns from his last two games.
Diaz has started all of Liverpool’s last four games and encouragingly has completed 90 minutes in each of his last two appearances. He has had eight shots on goal in the last four gameweeks, with seven of those efforts coming inside the box and five finding the target.
Elijah Adebayo vs Sheffield United (H), £4.9m
2.8% ownership
Luton Town’s Elijah Adebayo is one of the form players in the game right now, scoring five goals in his last four games including a hat-trick back in Gameweek 22. He’s budget-friendly, a huge differential and highly attractive given his upcoming fixtures.
Luton have one of the most attractive fixtures of the weekend at home to Sheffield United who sit bottom of the Premier League and without a clean sheet on the road in this campaign. Luton then double in Gameweek 25, with a potential 180 minutes to deliver in.
