The 20 fastest players on EAFC 24 ranked!
Even in the new era of EA Sports FC 24, pace is once again extremely important, particularly on Ultimate Team.
Pace remains arguably the most valuable asset in the game, morphing average players into must-haves across all modes, while a lack of it can turn real-life elite players into mere afterthoughts for the scrap heap.
So, who are the fastest players in Ultimate team for EAFC 24? Let’s take a look at the top 20…
The list below does not include ICONs, Heroes or any other special cards that might have got upgrades. Only base cards that would also be available in other parts of the game, but with a focus on their Ultimate Team stats.
Honourable mentions:
Daniel Smith, Mallory Swanson, Rafa, Lois Openda, Hirving Lozano, Nico Williams, Salma Paralluelo, Jeremiah St Juste, Zaidu Sanusi, Sekou Koita, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Kamaldeen Sulemana, Meschack Elia, Won Sang Um, Yorbe Vertessen, Muteb Al Harbi, Cade Cowell, Christian Conteh, Cristi Barbut.
=16. Sophia Smith
Club: Portland Thorns
Pace: 93
American superstar Sophie Smith has already played her way into the hearts of a lot of Ultimate Team players, an 88-rated striker with 93 Pace, four-star Skill Moves and five-star Weak Foot. And it’s deserved too, with Smith one of the best players in the world. She was rewarded for her performances in 2023 with a Team of the Year card, giving her 97 Pace!
=16. Theo Hernandez
Club: AC Milan
Pace: 93
For the third year in a row, Theo Hernandez has 93 Pace, while for the second year running his overall rating is 85. Simply put, he remains one of the top full-backs in the game. Which is why his TOTY, with 98 Pace, is worth 6.35m coins…
=16. Ousmane Dembele
Club: PSG
Pace: 93
Ousmane Dembele’s time with Barcelona is at an end with the Frenchman returning to his homeland with PSG. What hasn’t changed is his 93 Pace, though his Overall has had a nice bump from 83 to 86. That can go up to 98 if you have 4.4m coins for his 91 Fantasy FC card.
=16. Rafael Leao
Club: AC Milan
Pace: 93
Rafael Leao was already an incredible player on FIFA 23 (and in real life, of course), but he got even better with his Pace going up from 91 to 93. For a long time, his “normal” card remained popular and his 92-rated Europa League Road To The Final card, with 97 Pace, comes in with a price just shy of five million coins.
=7. Kevin Schade
Club: Brentford
Pace: 94
Kevin Schade made his loan move to Brentford permanent this summer and also maintains his Pace rating of 94, while his Overall has gone up two to 72. That’s an incredible jump from just two years ago on FIFA 22, where his Pace and Overall were just 69 and 62, respectively.
=7. Ismaila Sarr
Club: Marseille
Pace: 94
Ismaila Sarr is back in France with Marseille after a strong season in the Championship with Watford, taking his 94 Pace with him.
=7. Michael
Club: Al-Hilal
Pace: 94
Brazilian forward Michael is still tearing it up with Al-Hilal and now finds himself with a whopping 94 Pace, up 10 from FIFA 23.
=7. Sheraldo Becker
Club: Real Sociedad
Pace: 94
Sheraldo Becker isn’t a name too many will be familiar with unless they have been following the Eredivisie and Bundesliga closely. In terms of EA Sports FC, the Suriname international comes in at 94 Pace, which is a decrease of one from last year. And he’s had a transfer too, joining Real Sociedad from Union Berlin.
=7. Rosemonde Kouassi
Club: FC Fleury
Pace: 94
One of just three women in EAFC 24 with 94 Pace, Rosemonde Kouassi moved to French club Fleury in 2022 and is set to be a good player for the future, aged just 22.
=7. Inaki Williams
Club: Athletic Club
Pace: 94
The older Williams, Inaki remains a talisman for Athletic Club. The 29-year-old keeps his Pace of 94 from FIFA 23 — though his 78 Shooting is less desirable as a striker.
=7. Delphine Cascarino
Club: Lyon
Pace: 94
The second of two women in the D1 Arkema with 94 Pace on Ultimate Team, 27-year-old Delphine Cascarino has already won the Women’s Champions League six times with her childhood club Lyon. Her Triple Threat card with 97 Pace was also a favourite when it was first released.
=7. Jeremie Frimpong
Club: Bayer Leverkusen
Pace: 94
We don’t need to introduce Jeremie Frimpong to regular players. The Dutchman has long been one of the most popular full-backs on the game due to his lightning speed and that remains the case this time around as he maintains his 94 Pace. Obviously he’s already got a card with 99 Pace too, for his TOTY.
=7. Trinity Rodman
Club: Washington Spirit
Pace: 94
One of the bright young stars of both the NWSL and America in general, Trinity Rodman’s speed has been translated in EAFC with Pace of 94. Capable of playing on the right wing and as a striker, she’s a scary prospect, with her Future Stars card coming in with 96 Pace.
=3. Sirlord Conteh
Club: Paderborn
Pace: 95
With a 68 Overall rating, Sirlord Conteh isn’t the most glamorous option on EA Sports FC 24. However, with 95 Pace — up two from last year — he could prove incredibly useful on career mode as a budget option up-front. Wait until you see the company he keeps on 95 Pace…
=3. Moussa Diaby
Club: Aston Villa
Pace: 95
Moussa Diaby has impressed during the early stages of his Aston Villa career and the virtual version of the player is sure to do the same following a two-point boost to his Pace at 95.
=3. Alphonso Davies
Club: Bayern Munich
Pace: 95
It’s Alphonso Davies. We will know he’s the Roadrunner. In fact, even with his Pace going up one to 95 this year, that still feels too slow for him… So it’s fun that EA have given him two special cards on Ultimate Team, one with 98 Pace and the other 99 — though the 99 was an SBC that is no longer available.
=3. Vinicius Jr
Club: Real Madrid
Pace: 95
95 does draw Davies level with Vinicius Jr, however, with those two, Diaby and Conteh tied as the third-fastest players in the game. Vini Jr vs Davies is a race we’d all love to see. In terms of special cards, Vinicius has hit 98 Pace, but we’re still waiting on that 99 card…
2. Karim Adeyemi
Club: Borussia Dortmund
Pace: 96
Karim Adeyemi is one of the best young forwards on the planet, both in real life and in the gaming world. It’s little wonder with his Pace ranked at 96, up three from last year when he was already hugely popular.
1. Kylian Mbappe
Club: PSG
Pace: 97
Only four players in the game have an Overall of 91: Alexia Putellas, Erling Haaland, Kevin De Bruyne and Kylian Mbappe. The latter, however, is out on his own as the fastest player in the game with 97 Pace, which will come as a surprise to nobody. There isn’t too much room for boosts, which explains why Mbappe has five cards with just 98 Pace on Ultimate Team, with his TOTY boasting 99.
