EAFC 26 player ratings: Mo Salah leads the way after big upgrade

We’re edging closer towards the release of EA Sports FC 26.

The latest edition of the game is just under three weeks away — or two if you’ve preordered the Ultimate Edition. And to build up excitement for the game, EA Sports have now released the top 100 players.

The main focus of the game for years has been on Ultimate Team, and that’s still the case for EAFC 26. It’s shown by the player ratings coming with the stats as shown on their FUT cards.

But these ratings are across the game as a whole. And there aren’t any Icons or Heroes included.

So, who made the top 100?

10. Erling Haaland (90)

• Club: Man City
• EAFC 25 rating: 91

Erling Haaland suffered a little bit last season with injury and form, “only” scoring 22 goals in the Premier League. It’s a run that has seen his overall on EAFC drop by one to 90. That includes a -2 to his Pace and -1 to his Shooting, as well as a -1 to his Dribbling.

9. Jude Bellingham (90)

• Club: Real Madrid
• EAFC 25 rating: 90

Jude Bellingham has enjoyed an increase to some of his attributes between EAFC 25 and EAFC 26. But that hasn’t brought an increase in his overall, which remains 90. One of the bigger changes was Bellingham’s Dribbling, which has seen a +2. But his Shooting did go down by one.

8. Virgil van Dijk (90)

• Club: Liverpool
• EAFC 25 rating: 89

Virgil van Dijk was one of a handful of Liverpool players to experience an upgrade on his overall, jumping from 89 to 90. That includes an increase of his Defending from 89 to 90, as well as +1s to his Passing, Dribbling and Physical. His Pace has taken a -5, though, in keeping with EAFC’s practice for players as they get further away from the age of 30.

7. Caroline Graham Hansen (90)

• Club: Barcelona Femeni
• EAFC 25 rating: 90

Caroline Graham Hansen is another to have seen her overall stay the same from EAFC 25, keeping her 90. But the Norwegian is slightly different. She hasn’t seen any face stats change, with just some minor alterations the deeper you delve.

6. Rodri (90)

• Club: Man City
• EAFC 25 rating: 91

Rodri missed pretty much all of last season due to injury, so has understandably seen a drop in his overall to 90. This has come with both his Pace and Defending dropping by one. And that Pace of 65 will make him less appealing to some players.

5. Ousmane Dembele (90)

• Club: PSG
• EAFC 25 rating: 86

Now this is what we call an update. And it’s a deserved one. Ousmane Dembele was instrumental in Paris Saint-Germain finally winning the Champions League. It’s earned him a +4 in EAFC 26. The Frenchman has experienced an incredible +13 to his Shooting and +5 to Dribbling among other upgrades.

4. Aitana Bonmati (91)

• Club: Barcelona Femeni
• EAFC 25 rating: 91

Aitana Bonmati has maintained her overall of 91, after yet another strong season for Barcelona Femeni. But there have been a couple of changes to her face stats. Bonmati’s Pace has risen from 81 to 85, while she’s also experienced a +1 to her Shooting.

3. Kylian Mbappe (91)

• Club: Real Madrid
• EAFC 25 rating: 91

Kylian Mbappe is once again 91-rated in EAFC. The Frenchman had an interesting first year at Real Madrid but did enough to earn a +1 to his Passing and Defending. However, the Frenchman has taken a -2 on his Physical stat.

2. Alexia Putellas (91)

• Club: Barcelona
• EAFC 25 rating: 90

Now fully back after injury, Alexia Putellas is the best women’s footballer in EAFC 26 — per EA Sports’ rankings. She’s experienced a +1 overall, taking her to 91, with her Physical rising from 78 to 80. That is the only change on her face attributes.

1. Mo Salah (91)

• Club: Liverpool
• EAFC 25 rating: 89

Mo Salah is the best player in EAFC 26, leading the four-pack of 91-rated stars. The Egyptian King was integral to Liverpool’s Premier League title win last season and was duly rewarded. Salah’s overall has risen from 89 to 91, which includes increases to his Shotting, Passing, Dribbling and Physical.
