EA FC 25 player ratings: Man City, Real Madrid and Barcelona Femeni dominate top 10
We’re just over two weeks away from the official release of EA FC 25.
As excitement builds for the new game, EA Sports are adding to it with the release of their player ratings. While the full list of ratings hasn’t officially been revealed yet, we do have 50 players confirmed.
Now, this isn’t a top 50 per se, rather two top 25s for Ultimate Team.
Of course, with women being added to Ultimate Team in FC 24, EA Sports have released a top 25 for the men, and another for the women. Scroll down for the full list of 25 men and 25 women.
But, we’ve also taken a look at the top 10 overall, with four currently tied for the best players in FC 25 — excluding Icons and Heroes.
So, who made it in?
10. Sam Kerr (90)
- Club: Chelsea FCW
- EA FC 24 rating: 90
Sam Kerr hasn’t played since January due to an ACL injury, but she has kept her rating from FC 24. In the first half of the season for Chelsea, Kerr scored nine goals and provided four assists in 12 matches across all competitions. Despite keeping her rating, Kerr’s Physical has dropped by two.
9. Kevin De Bruyne (90)
- Club: Man City
- EA FC 24 rating: 91
Kevin De Bruyne was the joint-best player at the start of EA FC 24. However, he has seen his initial rating come down by one overall, dropping to 90. The Belgian also suffered an injury but upon his return De Bruyne was assisting like he never left. Now 33, age may also be playing a part in De Bruyne’s dip in overall, as has been the case so many times in this series’ history. That drop in five of Pace is proof.
8. Caroline Graham Hansen (90)
- Club: Barcelona Femeni
- EA FC 24 rating: 90
Caroline Graham Hansen has finally been nominated for the Ballon d’Or Feminin, having been bizarrely snubbed since the awards inception. She was recognised in EA FC 24 with a rating of 90, which she has kept for this year’s game. The Norwegian remains one of the best players in Barcelona’s all-conquering team. She’s seen a slight improvement to her Shooting and Physical.
7. Vinicius Jr (90)
- Club: Real Madrid
- EA FC 24 rating: 89
The first improvement on the list. Vinicius Jr is the favourite to win the Ballon d’Or this year, and it’s easy to see why. He was the star of Real Madrid’s La Liga and Champions League double last season, scoring 24 goals and providing nine assists. Vinicius Jr already enjoyed a big boost in his rating last year, so this time it’s only by one, but it’s deserved.
6. Alexia Putellas (90)
- Club: Barcelona Femeni
- EA FC 24 rating: 91
Another drop in this list, and another caused by injury. Two-time Ballon d’Or Feminin winner Alexia Putellas was out for Barcelona between November and the end of February. And even when she returned, the Spain midfielder was phased back into the team. But she did still have an impact as Barcelona won all there was to win in women’s football. She was also part of the Spanish team that finished fourth at the Olympics.
5. Jude Bellingham (90)
- Club: Real Madrid
- EA FC 24 rating: 86
The biggest jump on this list, Jude Bellingham is reaping the virtual rewards for a fantastic first season at Real Madrid. No one expected the Englishman to have the impact he did at Real Madrid, scoring 23 goals and providing 13 assists across all competitions. There was even talk of him winning the Ballon d’Or, and his case may have been high had he helped England win Euro 2024. Nonetheless, he has seen a boost of four to his overall for FC 25.
4. Erling Haaland (91)
- Club: Man City
- EA FC 24 rating: 91
Moving onto the four players tied with a rating of 91. Erling Haaland is the lowest-ranked of those four on EA’s website, but he’ll be a favourite. The Norwegian didn’t have as good a season in 2023/24 as he did the campaign before, but that still brought a record of 38 goals in 45 games across all competitions. Haaland has kept his overall of 91 from FC 24, and has actually dropped one in Pace and Shooting — but his Passing has improved by four.
3. Aitana Bonmati (91)
- Club: Barcelona Femeni
- EA FC 24 rating: 90
The best women’s player in the world, Aitana Bonmati’s stature is now mimicked in FC 25. The Spanish midfielder was still highly-rated at 90 in FC 24, but she deserves to stand alone as the reigning two-time Ballon d’Or Feminin holder. Last season was another spectacular one for Bonmati, particularly in leading Barcelona to Champions League glory. She’ll likely win a third Ballon d’Or Feminin this year too.
2. Rodri (91)
- Club: Man City
- EA FC 24 rating: 89
Perhaps the most deserved improvement on the men’s side, for years Rodri was underrated on FIFA and EA FC games. Despite being one of the best — if not the best — players in the world, that never translated to the virtual world. He’ll probably still not be used too much in Ultimate Team with his Pace of 66, which has gone up by eight! But at least the 91 is right.
1. Kylian Mbappe (91)
- Club: Real Madrid
- EA FC 24 rating: 91
Like Haaland, Kylian Mbappe has retained his spot as one of the best players in FC 25. And, per the rankings on the EA Sports website, he’s top dog. The Frenchman is finally a Real Madrid player and this could be the year he ends his Champions League wait. But in his final season for PSG, Mbappe still scored 44 goals in 48 games across all competitions. He also claimed another Ligue 1 Golden Boot.
