EAFC 25: Best strikers to sign on Career Mode for every budget

As we hit March, there’s still so much you can do with EA Sports FC 25.
Although we’re in a bit of a quiet period in Ultimate Team, as players wait for Team of the Season, with Career Mode you can have a fresh start whenever you want.
Manager Career — as it’s officially called now — has had a revamp this year, including the introduction of Women’s Football. But the premise and aim remains the same. Winning the league and potentially the Champions League.

They say defences win you titles, but playing Vindaloo football can be just as fun on EAFC 25. For the uninitiated, that’s “we’re gonna score one more than you”. You could have the best players in the world across the pitch, but it all counts for nothing if you don’t have a leading forward capable of taking their chances.
At the same time, a poor team can be saved by a good striker. But who do you go for on EAFC 25? We’ve taken a look at some of the top strikers available to buy in your first window, across an array of transfer fees to make your job a tad easier.
We’re just looking at players available in Men’s Career Mode here, with finances in Women’s Career Mode much different.
Values and presence of release clauses may vary per save, while availability may vary depending on strictness of transfers.
EAFC 25 best strikers to sign on Career Mode – Under £5m
Enzo Molebe (Lyon)
Initial EAFC 25 overall: 63
Potential EAFC 25 overall: 84
Value: £1.3m
We start our journey in France with what could be a young superstar in Enzo Molebe.
He starts Manager Career just 16 years old and full of promise. Pace (79) and Dribbling (71) are good for his overall of 63, while a Physical of 60 isn’t too bad either. Of course, you’re looking at the Shooting of 63 too, with 64 Finishing. He’s got four-star Weak Foot and three-star Skill Moves, which can be good at a lower level to start off with. He has a potential overall of 84, which is more than good enough for a team looking to climb tables.
He’s valued at £1.3m, but Lyon will accept around £1.2m with a small sell-on clause.
Maher Carrizo (Velez Sarsfield)
Initial EAFC 25 overall: 67
Potential EAFC 25 overall: 84
Value: £2.2m
Taking a trip away from Europe, Maher Carrizo is an interesting prospect.
The 19-year-old plies his trade in Argentina with Velez Sarsfield, with a starting overall of 67. Pace is his biggest selling point at this early stage, boasting 83 with a good split of 82 Acceleration and 84 Sprint Speed. Capable of playing on the right wing too, Carrizo’s Dribbling comes in at 71. His shooting his slightly lower at 66, but you can work with that as he grows to a potential overall of 84.
The Argentine has a value of £2.2m but you can get him for £2m – so ignore any release clause he may have.
Conrad Harder (Sporting CP)
Initial EAFC 25 overall: 71
Potential EAFC 25 overall: 86
Value: £3.8m
A Scandinavian striker plying his trade for Sporting CP. But we’re not talking about Viktor Gyokeres. This is Conrad Harder.
The 19-year-old Dane has a good starting overall of 71, which includes 73 Shooting and 74 Finishing. He has the capability to play as a CAM and LW, but you might want to keep him up front, using his decent starting Pace of 74. The downside is that Harder only has two-star Skill Moves and two-star Weak Foot, so you’ll have to get those up in training. But he has a potential to grow to 86 overall, turning into a pretty solid player.
Harder is valued at £3.8m, but Sporting CP won’t part with their striker unless you cough up around £4.7m with a sell-on clause.

EAFC 25 best strikers to sign on Career Mode – £5m – £20m
George Ilenikhena (Monaco)
Initial EAFC 25 overall: 72
Potential EAFC 25 overall: 85
Value: £4.6m
Ligue 1 is home to a number of good young strikers, and Monaco have one in George Ilenikhena.
The Nigerian has an initial overall of 72, becoming an immediate good signing for second-tier clubs if you can get him. His Pace is a strong 81, but we also like his Shooting and Dribbling with are both 71. His Positioning at 73 and Finishing of 74 are good for his level, and they’ll grow alongside him as he grows to reach his potential rating of 85. Ilenikhena also has three-star Skill Moves and three-star Weak Foot.
He’s valued at £4.6m, but Monaco will ask for around £5.5m.
Karim Konate (Red Bull Salzburg)
Initial EAFC 25 overall: 73
Potential EAFC 25 overall: 86
Value: £6.5m
The latest man from the Red Bull Salzburg production line, Karim Konate is an interesting young striker.
The 20-year-old has good Pace from the off at 86, and he’s also a decent dribbling with 76 Dribbling including 74 Ball Control. Konate is also strong in the air, boasting 86 Jumping and 77 Heading Accuracy. His 70 Shooting may be a bit look, but that’s lowered by his Volleys (51) and Penalties (60). Of course, you’ll improve all that anyway as he reaches his potential of 86.
Konate is valued at £6.5m but you can get him for as low as £6m with a sell-on fee.
EAFC 25 best strikers to sign on Career Mode – £20m and above
Endrick (Real Madrid)
Initial EAFC 25 overall: 77
Potential EAFC 25 overall: 91
Value: £20.5m
You might think, ‘we’ll obviously’, but would you really think Endrick is affordable?
Endrick starts EAFC 25 Career Mode aged 17, 77-rated with four-star Skill Moves and three-star Weak Foot. He has 89 Pace, 76 Finishing and 78 Dribbling. Despite being 5’8″, Endrick also has 85 Jumping and 70 Heading Accuracy. You won’t be putting crosses into the box all the time for him, but it’s a nice Plan B to have. Think Brazilian Tim Cahill. And then, just look at that potential rating of 91! Only Kylian Mbappe (94) and Erling Haaland (93) have higher potential overalls among strikers.
Despite his potential, Endrick has an initial value of £20.5m and Real Madrid will accept around £30m for the Brazilian. Which feels like daylight robbery, so do it and run before they realise their mistake.
Samu (Porto)
Initial EAFC 25 overall: 79
Potential EAFC 25 overall: 87
Value: £26.5m
Samu has shot up in overall and value since the game first came out. But he’s still one worth signing.
He starts Manager Career aged 20, but now has an overall of 78. That comes with Shooting of 78 and 70 Pace, which is a decent baseline. He has Target Forward+ as one of his player roles, so you’ll want to keep that in mind. That will bring his 92 Jumping and 85 Strength into play, with a potential overall now of 87.
He’s valued highly now, but Porto will still accept around £35m.
