Tyson Fury will make the latest defence of his WBC world heavyweight title against Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium this weekend.

Fury returns to the ring for the first time since crowning a classic trilogy against Deontay Wilder with an 11th-round TKO victory back in October. There were five knockdowns in total as Fury got back off the canvas twice to eventually overcome Wilder and retain his belt.

Now back in the UK after four years fighting stateside, Fury goes in as favourite against mandatory challenger Whyte in what could be his last professional bout. Despite the prospect of money-spinning fights against Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua further along the road, the Brit has revealed plans to hang up his gloves after April’s Wembley showpiece.

For Whyte, who avenged his 2020 defeat to Alexander Povetkin last time out, the fight marks the end of a five-year wait for a world title shot.
