Man City are a team steeped in history but it’s in more recent years where they’ve achieved the most success. They’ve won the Premier League title seven times since 2012, including the last three in a row, as well as being crowned European Champions in 2023. They spent many years cut adrift in the second, and sometimes third, level of English football and it’s hard to begrudge the most diehard fans their, relatively, new found success. With a wealth of talent at their disposal, Man City are likely to be there, or thereabouts, once again this season.
