Tottenham are targeting their fifth consecutive top-flight win on the bounce in Saturday’s early Premier League kick-off against Brighton, with the Seagulls having lost all four of their previous visits to Spurs in the Premier League.
Brighton did, however, beat Arsenal 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium last time out – their first win in eight matches.
As concerning for Brighton fans has been their lack of goals. Before the two against Arsenal, Brighton had scored just once in seven matches.
Tottenham won the reverse fixture 2-0 and also eliminated Graham Potter’s side from the FA Cup, and Antonio Conte’s side have scored at least twice in each of their last seven Premier League fixtures. They also eliminated Graham Potter’s side from the FA Cup.
Spurs are 6/1 with Sky Bet to secure another 2-0 win over Brighton this weekend.
Tottenham vs Brighton: Match Stats
Dejan Kulusevski has recorded six assists since making his Premier League debut in February, and could become the first player to provide seven assists in their first ten Premier League starts with another at the weekend.
Half of those assists have been for Son Heung-min, with two coming in the last two matches, and the South Korean is in a rich vein of form with six goals in his last three appearances. Kulusevski is 4/1 with Sky Bet to provide Son with another on Saturday.
Although Harry Kane is without a goal in his last three appearances for Spurs, the England captain boasts an impressive record against Brighton. His last league goal came against Potter’s side, and he has netted in each of his last three appearances against them. In total, Kane has scored five Premier League goals against Brighton: Only Jamie Vardy and Mohamed Salah (6 goals) have scored more.
Odds of 3/1 (Sky Bet) are available for both Kane and Son to score in this match.
Brighton’s last three Premier League victories have come away from home and they are unbeaten in all five of their league games in London this season (won 2, drawn 3).
