Arsenal vs Brentford predictions, odds, betting tips and team news

Arsenal will be looking to continue their final push in the Premier League when they host Brentford at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday 12th April at 5:30pm.
The title may be too far for the Gunners, but they still need to make a top-four finish mathematically secured. Brentford are in the bottom half but may still harbour European hopes. This game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Premier League.
Bukayo Saka to score or assist (10/11 with Paddy Power)
Bukayo Saka has been directly involved in five goals against Brentford, scoring one with four assists. He’s only blanked in two of his six games against the Bees. With a record like that, the Englishman is looking likely to trouble Brentford this weekend once again. Saka has recently returned from injury, scoring once in three games and being influential in his side’s impressive 3-0 victory over Real Madrid in the Champions League.
Saka has found the net 10 times in 30 appearances so far this season, an average of a goal every three games and he’ll be keen to continue that form in this match.
Arsenal to win and over 2.5 goals (7/5 with BoyleSports)
Four of Brentford’s five away league London derbies have seen at least three goals scored. Arsenal have won their past four games against Brentford across all competitions and, having gone five games without a loss, the Gunners will be favourites to claim another victory. The Gtech Stadium has been a haven for goal lovers this season, with 57 goals being scored across the season, the second highest total in the league.
Arsenal have scored the fourth highest total of goals this season, with Brentford just behind them, so this game could well see a glut of goals as both sides look for the win.

Arsenal vs Brentford Odds
How both teams go into Arsenal vs Brentford
The Gunners will hope that a late title charge is still on, but it might be a case of securing Champions League football. That doesn’t look like it will be a hard task, though. Arsenal are currently five points clear of third placed Nottingham Forest and nine points ahead of fourth placed Chelsea. So they’d need a big fall of to not finish in the Champions League places. The Gunners did have a three-game winless run before the break, but that is well and truly behind them with Arsenal going eight games unbeaten in all competitions.
Arsenal pulled off one of their biggest ever results in midweek, beating Real Madrid 3-0 in the first leg of their Champions League quarter final and that result could give them a bundle of confidence heading into the final stages of the season. They have the second leg to concentrate on this week, however, and having one eye on that tie could give Brentford the chance to take something from this game and give their own European ambitions a shot in the arm.
Brentford are currently in 12th position and are nine points behind 7th placed, Aston Villa. The Bees are just about on the edge of a challenge for European football, though they do need a lot to go their way. Thomas Frank’s side won three of their last six games before the March international break, losing two and that indifferent form has continued upon their return, with the Bees winning just one of their last five matches, drawing two of them and being defeated in two.
Arsenal team news
Riccardo Calafiori is expected to miss out with an injury picked up over the international break. Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus and Takehiro Tomiyasu are all out for the season and they have been joined on the sidelines by Gabriel, who faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a thigh injury.
Brentford team news
Fabio Carvalho and Gustavo Nunes are long-term absentees, and Brentford’s only confirmed misses as things stand.
Arsenal vs Brentford head-to-head
Arsenal are unbeaten in their past seven games against Brentford across all competitions, since a 2-0 defeat at the start of the 2021-22 Premier League season. The Gunners have won their past four in a row, and haven’t lost at home to the Bees since 1938 — though that is also just six matches.
