Copa Del Rey Predictions & Betting Tips
The Copa Del Rey is Spain’s domestic cup competition and while Barcelona and Real Madrid are expected to dominate as ever, this is perhaps the best chance for the rest of the country to get their hands on some silverware each year. Get our latest tips and predictions for the 2023/2024 edition of the competition here.Sorry, but there are currently no tips for the current league "Copa Del Rey Predictions & Betting Tips", but you can check out our tips for other leagues below.
NewcastleBournemouth
Newcastle have won their last nine matches across all competitions, keeping a clean sheet in five of them. The Magpies have conceded just one goal in their last five Premier League games. Alexander Isak has been key to the Magpies' recent run. In fact, the Swedish striker has scored in each of his last seven Premier League appearances, netting nine goals in total during that sequence. Bruno Guimaraes has been booked five times in all competitions this season.
Bayern MunichWolfsburg
Bayern have won their opening two games of 2025 and they’ve won seven of their eight Bundesliga games at the Allianz Arena this season. Visitors Wolfsburg have scored in 16 of their 17 league matches and they’ve generated 1.2 Expected Goals or greater in five of their previous six Bundesliga matches.
BrentfordLiverpool
Liverpool have won their last four games against Brentford, conceding just one goal during this time while scoring 10. Mo Salah is the top scorer in the Premier League with 18 goals, including eight in his last eight games. Ryan Gravenberch has been booked five times so far this season.
LeicesterFulham
Things are getting desperate for Leicester. The Foxes have lost six consecutive league matches and collected only 14 points after 21 matches. Leicester have conceded two or more in seven of eight under Ruud van Nistelrooy and their latest defeat came at the King Power on Wednesday when they were beaten 2-0 by Crystal Palace. Fulham have scored exactly twice in each of their last four Premier League games, but have failed to win any of the last three (D2 L1). Only twice in Premier League history has a side scored multiple goals in four consecutive games but failed to win any of them – Derby County (5 in September 2000) and West Ham (4 in April 2016). I’ve been impressed with Marco Silva’s side this season. After failing to score in their first Premier League away game this season (0-1 vs Manchester United), they have now scored in each of their last nine on the road, their longest away scoring streak in the competition. At even money, they look very backable against a Leicester side who are shipping goals for fun.
LeicesterFulham
No player in the top flight has been shown more yellow cards than Boubakary Soumare this season. The Frenchman has been carded on eight occasions, with seven of those yellows being shown in home matches. Before the Crystal Palace match on Wednesday, Soumare had been carded in seven consecutive home league matches. With an average of 0.78 bookings per 90 this term, he looks like a solid proposition for another in a game his side desperately needs to win. The second half of this double is for Antonee Robinson to provide an assist. The left-back has been one of the stand-out performers in the Premier League this season and has already racked up nine assists. Robinson has provided more assists than any other defender in the Premier League this season (9). The only Fulham player to reach double figures for assists in a single Premier League campaign is Steed Malbranque in 2003-04 (10).
West HamCrystal Palace
I’ll also be having a few quid on Paqueta to score from outside the box. I’m expecting West Ham’s attacking output to increase under Graham Potter and the mood around the club should be much improved after their 3-2 win over Fulham on Wednesday. Four of Paqueta's last nine league goals for the Hammers have been from outside the area. The Brazilian has scored in his last two outings, and with other bookmakers such as Unibet pricing this same selection at just 9/1, I’m happy to take the 33/1 on offer with bet365.
West HamCrystal Palace
No player has been shown more yellow cards this season for Crystal Palace than Will Hughes. The midfielder should be handed a start on Saturday with Jefferson Lerma being substituted after 20 minutes against Leicester midweek due to illness. In total, Hughes has been shown seven yellow cards in 18 league appearances this season, with an average of 0.54 cards per 90 minutes. He is also making more fouls than any other player at the club, with 2.8 per 90 committed since the start of the campaign. At 3/1, he looks a solid proposition against a West Ham side with tricky players such as Lucas Paqueta and Mohammed Kudus.
JuventusAC Milan
Both teams have scored in each of Juve’s previous seven Serie A matches, while BTTS has landed in AC Milan’s last five games. The Rossoneri have both scored and conceded in visits to Fiorentina, Lazio and Atalanta this season, while Pulisic has eight shots on target across his last four appearances.
Bayer LeverkusenBorussia Monchengladbach
Xabi Alonso has used Grimaldo in a more advanced role in early 2025 and that’s expected to continue against a struggling Gladbach side. The visitors have conceded at least 3.5 Expected Goals in their last three Bundesliga games. Grimaldo has had 32 shots in the Bundesliga this term and he had two on target in the midweek win over Mainz
AtalantaNapoli
Atalanta have drawn their last three Serie A games, while Napoli are winless against the top five this season. David Neres has had at least three shots in three of his last five appearances and he’s set to step up in Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s absence. Ederson has been fouled 53 times in 26 appearances for Atalanta this season.
Nottingham ForestSouthampton
Nottingham Forest have won six of their last seven Premier League matches and have kept a clean sheet in four of thier last five. Southampton are the division's lowest scorers with 13 goals. Morgan Gibbs-White and Chris Wood have each scored in the same game in three of Nottingham Forest's last six matches, including the two of the last three.
Man UtdBrighton
Brighton have won five of the last six Premier League meetings between these sides, including the last two at Old Trafford. Danny Welbeck has opened the scoring in two of the last three meetings between these sides. Lisandro Martinez has been booked nine times in 28 appearances so far this season.
EvertonTottenham
Only Brighton (10), Fulham (9) and Crystal Palace (9) have drawn more Premier League games this season than Everton (8). What's more, the last six meetings between these sides at Goodison Park have ended all square, including five in the league. Son Heung-min has scored seven career goals against Everton, including three in his last two meetings with the Toffees. Yves Bissouma has been booked nine time in 26 appearances so far this season.
Union BerlinMainz
Mainz were edged out at Leverkusen in midweek but they’ve scored three times in six of their eight league trips. The visitors have a 100 per-cent record away to bottom-half sides, with over 2.5 goals landing in all three of those victories. Union Berlin have lost eight of their previous 10, but they do average a goal per game at home.
Real MadridLas Palmas
Real Madrid fell apart in a 5-2 loss to Barcelona last time out and they conceded twice to Sevilla in their last home league game. Las Palmas have scored in five of their last seven away trips. Sandro Ramirez has had a shot on target in five of his last six games, scoring four times.
IpswichMan City
Having failed to score in his first 11 league outings this season, Man City’s Phil Foden has netted four goals in his last five and is looks like he is coming into some form. He’s looking to score in three consecutive league games for the first time since October 2022. At 9/4 he looks a little overpriced in the anytime scorer market. It’s also worth noting that Man City have won 20 of their last 21 Premier League games against promoted sides since losing 2-1 to Leeds United in April 2021, with the only exception in this run being a 1-1 draw at Nottingham Forest in February 2023.
IpswichMan City
Liam Delap continues to impress at Ipswich, but I’m backing him to pick up a card on Sunday. No Ipswich payer has found themselves in the book more times this term than the forward. Only two players in the entire league have more cards than Delap this season. After seven in 19, I like his chances with plenty of defensive duties on the cards against City.
Inter MilanEmpoli
Empoli’s Lorenzo Colombo has had at least one shot on target in his previous six appearances, recording 10 in total in that stretch. Dimarco has had a shot on target in six of his last nine appearances for Inter. The Nerazzurri average 7.9 corners per game at home and they’re set to dominate possession in this clash.
ValenicaReal Sociedad
Sociedad have kept a clean sheet in all five trips to the bottom eight, while Valencia have lost six of their seven clashes with the top seven. Valencia’s opponents have picked up 47 bookings in 19 games and Sociedad rank seventh for fouls per away game. Valencia average 6.78 corners per game at home.

What are the popular Copa Del Rey Betting Markets?
Due to the unpredictability of cup football, punters can often find joy when betting on the Copa del Rey, be it the more standard winner markets or something that will require more finite details of a game.
Final Score
Anybody can predict a winner, whether in 90 minutes or to qualify to the next round in cup competitions, but there is something special about calling the correct score – and it’s no different in the Copa del Rey.
In the early stages of the tournament there are often big scorelines as La Liga teams are paired up against lower-league opposition, with Rayo Vallecano’s 6-0 win over sixth-tiered Atletico Lugones in the first round one such example. But there is also every chance for a shock, such as little-known Cornella’s 1-0 victory over eventual La Liga champions Atletico Madrid in the 2020/21 season.
Both teams to score
There aren’t many markets more simple than this – you’re backing both teams to get on the scoresheet during normal time in the match. You don’t need a team to win or a specific result, just at least one goal from each side, and it’s something that could be wrapped up really early.
Beforehand it’s worth checking how often the two teams tend to score and concede to ensure you’re making the right decision – and you can also back Both Teams to Score: No, if you feel a clean sheet is likely.
Anytime Scorer
One of many goalscoring markets and again one of the more simple ones. You just need the player you’re backing to score at any point in the match to get your win.
The most popular players will be the top scorers such as Antoine Griezmann or Robert Lewandowski, who can either hit the back of the net early or put the gloss on a potentially big win.
Copa Del Rey Free Bets
When it gets to the latter stages of the Copa del Rey, you’re always likely to find enticing new customer offers, with huge enhancements afforded to punters looking to back a favourite against an underdog.
If none of those take your fancy however, or if you’re already a customer with the offering bookmaker, then there are plenty of other ways to pick up price boosts, with many firms offering boosted odds ahead of every fixture in this competition.
There is of course always the opportunity to take advantage of a bookmakers’ generic new customer offer too – which can allow you to start your Carabao Cup betting journey with some free bets.
Best bookmakers for Copa Del Rey
So many bookmakers offer a huge depth of markets and leagues now, but every major bookmaker will offer odds on the Copa del Rey, from the early stages right through to the final.
We’ve scoured them all and selected the following three as our favourites, due to a combination of excellent new customer offers, competitive odds and the strength of their app and customer service.
