• Spread betting

The main draw for Spreadex will be its spread betting – hence the name. Spread betting differs from fixed odds betting in that a punter is given a spread of numbers and will pick whether what will happen is above or below that spread.

For example, Liverpool vs Chelsea has a total goal spread of 3.45-3.65. You sell if you think there will be three goals or less and buy if you think there will be four or more goals.

• Spread-free bets

For starters, a spread-free bet is not a free bet. It allows you to bet inside the spread, at the market mid-point. To qualify for this offer, you need to place three sports spread bets online on the same sport’s qualifying markets within 10 minutes (with the full list of markets available on Spreadex’s website). You can then place a fourth spread bet on the same market spread-free. You can claim this offer as many times as you want when you meet the qualifying criteria on the specific sports.

• Acca boosts

On football accumulators of three or more selections, on specific markets, you can get your winnings enhanced with every additional selection. The markets are ‘match odds’, ‘total goals over/under’, ‘correct score’, ‘double chance’, ‘half-time/full-time’, ‘half-time result’, half-time goals – over/under’ and ‘both teams to score’.

A three-leg accumulator will bring a 5% bonus, increasing by 5% all the way up to a 100% bonus for a 20-leg accumulator. The maximum bonus per bet that you can receive is £25,000 or the equivalent in your currency. And the maximum you can receive in a single day across all bets placed is £50,000 or the equivalent.

• First past the post

If a horse finishes first in a race but is then demoted for causing interference, Spreadex will pay out on the new winner and the original winner. For spread bets on the 100 Win Index, the original winner will settle at 100 for buyers and 0 for sellers. Any newly-promoted winner will settle at 100 for both buyers and sellers.

• Lucky double odds

If your Lucky 15, Lucky 31 or Lucky 63 settles with just one winner, you can get double the odds of your winning selection. All selections must run for the double winner bonus to apply. This will only apply to horse racing and greyhounds.

• 2nd to a rag insurance

If you back a horse that finishes second to a winner with a starting price of 33/1 or higher, you can get your money back as a free bet (£25 maximum). If you’re placing multiple bets on one race, this will only apply to the first bet.
