SV 07 Elversberg 2026/27 Bundesliga Preview
SV 07 Elversberg have made the best start of the three promoted sides, taking seven points from four games. They beat Bayer Leverkusen 3-2 on the opening weekend, won 4-3 at Borussia M’gladbach, lost 2-1 at home to Bayern Munich and drew 0-0 at Schalke 04.
Maurice Krattenmacher has three goals and David Mokwa two, with Cole Campbell also off the mark. Felix Keidel runs the set pieces with 13 corners and a direct free-kick, and Nicolas Kristof has kept one clean sheet from nine saves behind a back four that has conceded seven.
Elversberg were promoted from the 2. Bundesliga ahead of the 2026/27 season. Vincent Wagner’s 4-2-3-1 has already taken points off Leverkusen and Schalke, and eight goals in four games is not the return of a side setting up to survive.
