Group L at World Cup 2026 sees England bidding to go one step further than 2022 and reach the final.
The draw placed England in Group L alongside recent rivals, Croatia. Ghana joined Group L as the third team, and Panama rounded out the group.

World Cup 2026 Group L Fixtures
England get their 2026 campaign underway when they take on Croatia on Wednesday 17th June. Ghana and Panama clash in the other match on matchday one.
The second round of games sees Ghana try and get one over on England. Croatia will be looking for all three points against Panama.
The final Group L games take place at the same time on Saturday 27th June. England take on Panama in their final group game, while Croatia and Ghana meet in what should be a classic encounter.
World Cup 2026 Group L Results
England are odds on to win Group L but the likes of Croatia might have something to say about that. Ghana are third favourites in the betting at around prices as high as 14/1, while Panama are the outsiders at 50/1 in places.
England and Croatia are the clear favourites to qualify from Group L which leaves Ghana in a state of limbo. Eight of the 12 third placed teams will qualify for the Round of 32 but we’re not confident that Ghana will be among them. They could find the going tough in Group L and it might be an early exit for the Black Stars.
