Ivory Coast have confirmed their 26-man squad that will be heading to North America for the 2026 World Cup.
Emerse Fae is the man tasked with leading Ivory Coast to glory this summer and there are plenty of names that Premier League fans will be familiar with.
The likes of Nottingham Forest’s Ibrahim Sangare, Crystal Palace’s Evann Guessand and Amad Diallo of Manchester United are well known by fans of English football, while Nicolas Pepe will be remembered by Arsenal fans.

There might not be as many household names in the Ivory Coast squad as in previous years but there’s a quiet confidence that they will be able to make a big impression this summer. The likes of Amad Diallo and Yan Diomande represent the new generation of superstars for Les Elephants.
They are matched well with the big match experience of Franck Kessie, Jean Michael Seri and Ibrahim Sangare in midfield but there are concerns at the back, with no genuine top level defender or goalkeeper available to Ivory Coast.

Three players to look out for this summer
Amad Diallo (Manchester United)
Amad Diallo has been a constant spark for Man Utd over the past couple of seasons and he’s started to have a similar impact for his country, with five goals in the 18 games. His place in the starting lineup is by no means assured, with Nicolas Pepe perhaps preferred on the right hand side, but he’s still a vital cog in the Ivory Coast machine this summer.
Yan Diomande (RB Leipzig)
Yan Diomande is one of the most sought-after youngsters in Europe, with a big money move to Liverpool touted this summer, and it’s clear to see why. He’s found the net 12 times this season and provided seven assists for RB Leipzig and has been described as a ‘generational talent’ this season. This could be a true breakout tournament for Diomance, who is still just 19 years old.
Evan Ndicka (Roma)
Evan Ndicka probably represents the strongest defender in the Ivory Coast squad, with the 26-year-old having plenty of experience in the top European leagues with Eintracht Frankfurt and Roma. His imposing, 6’4″ frame sets him apart from the players around him and he’ll need to lead his defence to the maximum of his ability is Ivory Coast wish to really impact on the latter stages.
