The best 4.5 and 5-star teams to use in EAFC 26

EA Sports 26 is trucking along, even as we hit the summer.

Ultimate Team is the main draw for the game, and where EA Sports put a lot of their focus. Clubs is also very popular for those who want to play with their friends online.

But there are still a lot of players who spend their time in the offline modes. Whether that’s for the more casual gameplay, or because they just don’t have good internet connection. Or even when Ultimate Team has its quiet points.

There’s a time for regular realistic football, whether you’re on Manager Career, Kick Off against your mates or siblings, or playing online.

When you’re playing against your mates, there are so many ways to pick your teams. You can leave it all to chance and randomise — three randoms is the ultimate decider. Or you can make things slightly fairer and stick to clubs at similar and certain levels. If you opt for the latter, you’ll want the edge over your mates.

So we’ve picked out eight 4.5 and 5-star teams you should be playing with on EAFC 26 — across men’s and women’s. It’s time to get those bragging rights.

EAFC 26 4.5-star teams

Napoli

Napoli went into 2025-26 as Serie A champions. But that didn’t stop them from being “just” 4.5 stars on EAFC 26.

EAFC 26 4.5-star teams: Napoli

There are only two ratings that really stand out for this Napoli team. Summer signing Kevin De Bruyne is 87-rated, while Scott McTominay has a rating of 86. Despite a slightly low Pace, De Bruyne still comes in with 92 Passing alongside his five-star Weak Foot and four-star Skill Moves. But you may want to move things around to keep him more central than Napoli’s default formation might have him. And McTominay provides 83 Shooting from a deeper starting position. A switch with De Bruyne would be easiest, making up for having Rasmus Hojlund up front.

Galatasaray

Galatasaray are once again a fun team to play with on EAFC 26.

EAFC 26 4.5-star teams: Galatasaray

When you look at Galatasaray, your eyes will immediately go to 86-rated Victor Osimhen. The Nigerian boasts 92 Pace and 84 Shooting, alongside four-star Weak Foot. And he’s the only Galatasaray starter with an overall higher than 82. But that doesn’t mean they’re a bad team to use. Leroy Sane brings a decent option on the wing, and Ilkay Gundogan can bring something to the midfield even with his lack of Pace.

Bayer Leverkusen

Bayer Leverkusen look to be an interesting team in EAFC 26, and definitely one to try out.

EAFC 26 4.5-star teams: Bayer Leverkusen

There are a couple of standout names in this Leverkusen team, namely Patrik Schick and Alejandro Grimaldo in the starting XI. The central midfield pairing of Exequiel Palacios and Aleix Garcia aren’t too bad either, with Robert Andrich dropping to defence. Lucas Vazquez’s addition on the right opens up an option for a back four — or keeping him as the RM in a back three/five. Andrich playing at centre-back should tell you all you need to know about their defence. It’s not great. So you’ll want to deploy Vindaloo Football here — score one more goal than your opponents.

Netherlands Women

There are a few decent 4.5-star women’s teams. But the one that sticks out most to us is Netherlands Women.

EAFC 26 4.5-star teams: Netherlands Women

There are quite a few good players in this Netherlands side, even if you may be put off by some lower ratings. But they’ve got good balance. You’ll want to start by getting Vivianne Miedema out of the reserves. The striker shines with 85 Shooting and four-star Weak Foot, alongside her four-star Skill Moves. Lineth Beerensteyn provides pace on the wing, though she is very one-footed. And then you’ve got the potential to bring Jill Roord off the bench, still holding a rating of 86. A rejig of the defence could do you well too, to make sure Kerstin Casparij gets on at RB.

EAFC 26 5-star teams

Arsenal

Arsenal used to be a team with a couple of good players. Now they’re a team worth using on EAFC 26.

EAFC 26 5-star teams: Arsenal

The Gunners’ default starting XI has six players rated 87 or higher, including Gabriel at 89-rated. Bukayo Saka comes with 83 Pace and 82 Shooting alongside his 87 Dribbling, ready to cause havoc on the right. Of course, Arsenal now have a striker in Viktor Gyokeres, bringing his 86 Pace and 86 Shooting. You can also bring Martin Odegaard on from the reserves, and Mikel Arteta’s recent changes have even strengthened the full-back areas. There’s not a weak point in this team.

Paris Saint-Germain

This may seem obvious, but Paris Saint-Germain have received a nice boost after their Champions League win.

EAFC 26 5-star teams: PSG

Ousmane Dembele is now a 90-rated striker, with 91 Pace and 88 Shooting, boasting five-star Skill Moves and Weak Foot. He’s one of the best players in the game, and it’s about time. Dembele’s flanked by Desire Doue and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, at 86-rated and 88-rated, respectively. Kvaratskhelia is also five-star, five-star, with 89 Dribbling. Vitinha has also enjoyed a healthy boost to 90-rated, with high Dribbling and Passing. The defence is great too, except for the goalkeeper.

Lombardia FC

Who? You might ask. It’s Inter Milan, just under a different name. But be warned, this is very much a starting XI team only.

EAFC 26 5-star teams: Inter Milan

Lombardia have six players rated 86 or above, and there aren’t any real weak points in their starting XI. Lautaro Martinez is the one player to be rated 88, with his 88 Shooting and four-star Weak Foot. But he can also weave his way past defenders with his four-star Skill Moves and 84 Dribbling. Outside of Martinez, you’ve got the likes of Nicolo Barella, Hakan Calhanoglu, Federico Dimarco, Alessandro Bastoni and Yann Sommer in goal. But, as we’ve mentioned, Lombardia’s squad depth is poor – so you can’t rely on subs.

Barcelona Femeni

Obviously picking a women’s team limits you a little in terms of potential opponents. But there so many good players. And we have gone pretty obvious here.

EAFC 26 5-star teams: Barcelona Femeni

Barcelona Femeni are the best team in the world. And they slightly look better than Arsenal Women in terms of teams on EAFC 26. The midfield is unbeatable, though you’ll have to make changes before you actually start. Alexia Putellas is, of course, the star with five-star Skill Moves and five-star Weak Foot, alongside her 89 Shooting, 90 Passing and 91 Dribbling. But you’ve got Aitana Bonmati and Patri Guijarro to bring on from the bench and reserves, respectively — out of the team due to real-life injuries. Then there’s the likes of Caroline Graham Hansen and Ewa Pajor in attack, joined by Claudia Pina. The one weak point is Esmee Brugts at left-back, but even she’s had a boost to be good enough.
