Liverpool will be hoping to tighten their grip on a spot in the Premier League’s top five when they host Crystal Palace on Saturday at 3pm.
The Reds have won their past two league matches to open up a five-point gap over sixth, having played a game fewer than the teams below them.

Arne Slot’s side stand in good stead to secure a return to the Champions League, after what has been a tumultuous campaign. They’ve won six of their last 10 league games, having only won five of their previous 18 in the top flight.
Liverpool team news vs Crystal Palace
Liverpool are suffering from injuries right now. They are without first-choice goalkeeper Alisson, and Giorgi Mamardashvili had to come off in the Merseyside derby last weekend. The Georgian won’t be fit to feature on Saturday, so Freddie Woodman will get his first Premier League start.
Curtis Jones is likely to continue at right-back after his excellent performance, keeping his spot ahead of Jeremie Frimpong. Joe Gomez and Conor Bradley remain out injured, the latter out long-term.
Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate are the centre-backs, but Milos Kerkez could get a start over Andrew Robertson. Liverpool need to start preparing for life after Robertson, who will leave this summer.

The rest of the team should stay the same from the win over Everton. Alexander Isak should lead the line, especially with Hugo Ekitike injured and after having a week’s rest following his return to the starting XI.
Mo Salah’s farewell tour continues on the right, with Cody Gakpo on the left and Florian Wirtz through the middle. Rio Ngumoha will have to make do with another subsitute appearance, though he can certainly make an impact.
Dominik Szoboszlai and Ryan Gravenberch appear to be Slot’s favoured double pivot right now, with Alexis Mac Allister on the bench. Wataru Endo, Giovanni Leoni are also out for the rest of the season.

This will be the fourth time Liverpool have faced Crystal Palace this season, having also met in the Community Shield and Carabao Cup.

The latter was a 3-0 win at Anfield, and Crystal Palace could be the first team to beat Liverpool at the stadium twice in the same season since 2006-07.
Liverpool are winless in their last three Premier League games against Crystal Palace, drawing two alongside one defeat. That came after a run of five straight home league wins for Liverpool in this fixture.
