Group C Fixtures and Results

It’s unlikely that many England fans would’ve been dissatisfied when they were drawn in Group C, with the other teams alongside them all lacking much pedigree. England opened their account with a win over Serbia on Matchday One, while Slovenia and Denmark played out an entertaining 1-1 draw in Stuttgart. Slovenia’s second game finished with the same scoreline against the Serbs, while England toiled to a 1-1 draw themselves against Rode-Hvide. Both of the final Matchday games finishes goalless, leaving the Three Lions top of the group as the only team to win a game in the whole group and Denmark and Slovenia both going through having drawn all of their matches.

Group C Odds

England came into Euro 2024 as favourites to win Group C and, from their recent form in international tournaments, it’s easy to see why. In the end, despite not putting in any convincing displays, the Three Lions were the only team to win a game in the whole group, with five of the six games played in Group C ending level after 90 minutes.
