Los Angeles Lakers vs Denver Nuggets prediction
This series pits the playoffs’ strongest offence against the number one defence of the postseason.
Scoring 118.7 points per 100 possessions through the first two rounds, Denver will be eager to build on that momentum by going on to reach the NBA Finals for the first time.
The Nuggets, who made the most of home-court advantage in Games One and Two, registered the second-best home record in the NBA during the regular season, but in their two visits to the Lakers during the regular season they returned home empty-handed.
A road win in Game Three put them well in command in this series, but we expect the Lakers to respond at the Crypto.com Arena tonight.
The Lakers were 6-0 at home in the 2023 Playoffs (with an 18.3-point average winning margin) before that loss in Game Three. Expect the purple-and-gold to get on the scoreboard in Game Four.
