In the Bundesliga last season, Bayern Munich’s Thomas Müller was the assist king with 18 to go with his impressive tally of 11 goals, and he is currently on course to smashing that. The German already has 16 assists for the campaign, more than any other player in Europe’s top five leagues and the only Bundesliga player to hit double figures.
Muller’s closest rival so far this season is Bayer Leverkusen wonderkid Florian Wirtz on nine assists ahead of a quartet on seven.
