New York swept the Wild Card Series 2-0, winning 9-0 and 9-2, the most emphatic passage of the opening round. Tampa Bay have been rested since clinching the top seed. This is the one Game 1 with both pitching matchups effectively set: the Rays have confirmed Drew Rasmussen, and Aaron Boone has said Gerrit Cole is lined up for the Yankees, though New York retain the option of Carlos Rodón or Ryan Weathers on standard rest. Little of that is likely to be news to a market priced this tightly.
