Man City Squawka Score ratings 2025-26
The 2025-26 season has drawn to a close, so we’ve taken a look at Man City’s most-used XI from the campaign and assessed how the players have managed to perform according to the Squawka Score rating system.
The Squawka Score is a metric developed to assess a player’s performance related to other players in the same position. It’s a percentage rating from 0 to 100, calculated based on various per 90-minute statistics, including the obvious stats such as goals and assists, but also some more obscure ones that are more position specific.

GK: Gianluigi Donnarumma – 61% – Donnarumma has performed generally well since his move to Man City, but he wasn’t actually too busy in his first campaign. He does still, however, rank in the top five goalkeepers in the league for his score, boasting the best save percentage in the division.
RB: Matheus Nunes – 59% – After a poor start, Nunes’ score did improve over the course of the season, increasing 4% between February and May. His growing success in ground duels is offset by lower creative scores for stats like successful crosses into the box and passes into the final third.
CB: Ruben Dias – 75% – Dias was ranked the top centre-back in the Premier League for the 2025/26 season. The Portuguese defender scored well for his reliability on the ball, including his forward passing accuracy. Dias’ ability to catch opponents offside also left him in good stead, too.
CB: Josko Gvardiol – 69% – Gvardiol ranked in the 95th percentile and above for passes into the final third completed and challenges lost, establishing himself as clearly capable in all aspects of the game.
LB: Nico O’Reilly – 69% – O’Reilly is among the best left-backs in the Premier League right now, and it’s thanks to his superb attacking metrics. The Englishman ranked well for big chances created and for touches in the opposition box. City’s strong team defensive record also helped his case.
DM: Rodri – 70% – City have a strong defensive record, which massively helped Rodri’s DM Squawka Score. On a personal level, he ranked very well for aerial duels won, retention rate and passes into final third completed. He was also in the top 5% in the league for possessions won in the middle third.
RAM: Tijjani Reijnders – 69% – Reijnders was playing higher up the pitch than he might have been used to for large parts of his debut campaign at City. As a result, his Score took a hit in the first half of the campaign, however, since February he’s seen a 7% increase. A low number of tackles won and take-ons completed do affect his number, but he has contributed with goals and assists.
LAM: Phil Foden – 68% – Foden’s score improved in the final few months of the season as both his minutes and his impact increased. He carries a goal threat and ranks very well for crosses and through-balls completed as well as for penalty area entries.
RW: Bernardo Silva – 40% – Bernardo Silva’s score left a lot to be desired in his farewell campaign for Man City. He ranked in the bottom 20% for attacking midfielders in intentional assists, goals, shots on target and touches in the opposition box.
LW: Jeremy Doku – 75% – Doku has been excellent with his take-ons this season, sitting in the 95th percentile and above among wingers for completion and total numbers. And while his goal threat let him down earlier in the campaign, his productivity in the final few months of the season helped bump his score up considerably.
ST: Erling Haaland – 78% – Haaland is unsurprisingly considered the best striker in the Premier League again after his season’s performance. The Norwegian ranked in the 95th percentile and above for goals, non-penalty post-shot Expected Goals and conversion rate.
