The World Cup remains the most prestigious competition in football with the world’s best players congregating together every four years to compete for the iconic trophy.
Invariably, that includes the great goalscorers of each era. Throughout the competition’s long and storied history some of the best finishers in football have found the net consistently for their respective countries.
But only a select few have managed to reach double figures. Indeed, only 13 players have managed to score ten or more goals at the World Cup.
