While winning the World Cup is the ultimate honour, there are personal awards including the Golden Ball and Golden Boot. But there is often a Team of the Tournament.
Over the years, there have been different variations of the Team of the Tournament — official and unofficial, though still happening through Fifa.
The question is, can you name the players to have been named in those teams since 2002? For clarity, these aren’t just players being pushed into XIs. Some are squads, but these are all teams picked by statistical data.
There was no official or unofficial Team of the Tournament in 2022, with various outlets giving multiple different XIs. We haven’t included any of those in this quiz, but we have included the all-time Fifa World Cup Dream Team published during the 2002 World Cup and voted on by fans.
