In a shock to absolutely no one, Sevilla won the Europa League last season.
The Spanish side won the Europa League for a record-extending seventh time, beating Roma on penalties in the final in Hungary. It ended a long three-year wait for the Europa League for Sevilla, who have made this competition their own.
However, the defence of their crown has already ended. Placed in the Champions League as a result of their Europa League win, Sevilla finished bottom of their group with just two points from six games.
So, we’ll have a different name on the trophy this season. But the question is, who? Will it be a new club, or will someone add to their Europa League history in Dublin?
