Life is pretty good for Liverpool fans right now, despite their Champions League defeat to Napoli.

Jurgen Klopp’s men are still the reigning European champions (and have plenty of time to get the defence of their crown back on track) and currently hold a five-point lead at the top of the Premier League table.

Have we mentioned they are the only side in England’s top division yet to drop any points after their opening five matches? Well, it’s true.

The recent atmosphere generated at homes games feeds off their performances of late. Supporters bounce into matches expecting to win and can be proud to be watching some of Europe’s finest, including the man-mountain himself Virgil van Dijk.

Ok, he dropped a clanger in Naples to prove that he is human after all, but his displays in the last year have put him on a collision course with Lionel Messi for the prestigious Ballon d’Or award.

That gave us a cheeky idea. Would a Liverpool fan rather Van Dijk wins the Ballon d’Or but then leaves the club, or Messi wins the golden ball and signs for the Reds? It’s a difficult choice.

And who would they prefer to play a game of FIFA with: Mohamed Salah or Klopp? Also which victory is sweeter, beating city rivals Everton or claiming the bragging rights against eternal foes Man Utd?

Watch the video at the top of the article to hear Liverpool fans tackle all the big questions – and a few unusual ones – doing the rounds at Anfield.
