There have been some fine Dutchman to wear the famous orange strip over the years, but also some of the game’s most prolific goalscorers. The most deadly has been Robin van Persie, a man who needs no introduction on these shores.
This penalty-box assassin was not only finding the back of the net at an alarming rate in the Premier League for Arsenal and Manchester United, but also for his nation as well, as he netted a half-century of goals during his playing days, the most of any Dutchman.
