Premier League most assists: 2019/20 final standings for Playmaker Award
The fascinating race to become the Premier League‘s top playmaker is over, with Kevin De Bruyne having equalled a longstanding record.
The Belgian tops the assist standings having set up a total of 20 goals. He now shares the single-season record with Thierry Henry.

Liverpool full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold was De Bruyne’s closest challenger. He ends the campaign on on 13 after adding one more in his side’s win over Chelsea in gameweek 37. This is the highest number of assists a defender has ever recorded in a single Premier League campaign.
Andrew Robertson is just one behind his teammate with 12 and another three players joined the trio on double figures with David Silva, Son Heung-min and Mohamed Salah all recording 10 assists for the season.
