Most Serie A assists 2021/22: Final standings for this season
Milan sealed their first Serie A title for over a decade, just pipping Inter to the post at the death, but only one of their players made it in the top 10 for this season’s ‘playmaker’ award.
Ruslan Malinovskyi took the crown last season, with three assists in May aiding his total tally of 12.
The Atalanta midfielder finished ahead of Romelu Lukaku (11 assists), Juan Cuadrado, Piotr Zielinski and Henrikh Mkhitaryan (all 10). But none of the top five feature in this season’s final standings (and understandably in Lukaku’s case as he is no longer in the league).

Instead, it is Domenico Berardi who sealed the award with 14 assists for Sassuolo. He finished two clear of nearest challengers Hakan Calhanoglu and Nicolo Barella. There were then three other players to reach double figures for the campaign — Luis Alberto, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Antonio Candreva.
