Instead, it is Domenico Berardi who sealed the award with 14 assists for Sassuolo. He finished two clear of nearest challengers Hakan Calhanoglu and Nicolo Barella. There were then three other players to reach double figures for the campaign — Luis Alberto, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Antonio Candreva.
