Brighton odds to finish in the Premier League top half: Outright odds and predictions

Brighton and Hove Albion secured an eighth-placed finish in the Premier League last season. But a repeat of that is looking far-fetched at the moment.

The Seagulls are languishing in the bottom half of the table and face an uphill battle to finish the season strongly.

Read on to see their outright odds for the 2025-26 Premier League season, from top-half hopes to relegation worries.

Brighton odds to finish in the 2025-26 Premier League top half: Outright odds and predictions

Brighton were expected to finish in the top half at the start of the season. They’ve done it in three of the past four seasons. And even when they didn’t, Brighton finished 11th in 2023-24, missing out on the top half by just one point. But their chances seem a little slimmer after the season they’ve had so far.

Brighton odds to finish in the 2025-26 Premier League top six: Outright odds and predictions

Brighton missed out on European football by just one place and four points last season. And they did secure a sixth-placed finish in 2022-23, which saw the Seagulls compete in the Europa League. Fabian Hurzeler’s side will still harbour hopes of a return to Europe, though there’s a lot of work to be done.

Brighton odds to be relegated from the 2025-26 Premier League: Outright odds and predictions

Brighton’s worst finish since their promotion to the Premier League came in 2017-18. They finished 17th, just two points clear of 18th-placed Cardiff City. That was part of four straight seasons in which Brighton finished 15th or lower. A tough start to life back in the top flight.

Hurzeler’s men aren’t likely to be relegated, but there is still a chance. Which is a big shock.

Brighton Golden Boot odds: Outright odds and predictions

No Brighton player has ever won the Premier League Golden Boot, and they’ve never really been close. Joao Pedro was their joint-top scorer last season, scoring 10, but he’s now moved to Chelsea.

Danny Welbeck also brought up double figures last term, and has picked up from where he left off in 2025-26. He is still unlikely to win the Golden Boot, though.

Brighton PFA Player of the Year odds: Outright odds and predictions

The Seagulls are also yet to have a player win the PFA Player of the Year award. And they don’t have anyone in the running for this season.

Brighton ins and outs

Brighton were busy in the summer transfer window, signing six new players. Tom Watson arrived from Sunderland, as well as Diego Coppola from Verona. Yoon Do-young signed from South Korea and former PSV defender Olivier Boscagli joined on a free transfer, while Brighton splashed the cash on Charalampos Kostoulas from Olympiacos and Maxim De Cuyper from Club Brugge. Pascal Gross then made his return in the January transfer window.

Meanwhile, there were some notable departures, mainly Joao Pedro to Chelsea. Simon Adingra and Pervis Estupinan also left for Sunderland and Milan respectively, while Tariq Lamptey and Julio Enciso headed for the exit on deadline day. Evan Ferguson joined Roma on loan, with Matt O’Riley opting to spend the season with Marseille. Watson, Coppola and Do-young all left in the winter on loan.
