With less than a month to go in the 2024/25 Premier League season, Arsenal occupy second spot in the table but have all but conceded defeat in their efforts to reel in Liverpool at the summit, with the Merseysiders 13 points ahead with five games remaining.

Gunners’ fans have plenty of reasons to be buoyant though, after beating Real Madrid home and away to set up a Champions League semi-final with Paris Saint-Germain. It would be understandable if the North Londoners had more than half an eye on that upcoming clash. Still, Mikel Arteta will be determined to ensure they finish the domestic season strongly, starting with Wednesday night’s fixture against Crystal Palace.

When these two sides met earlier in the season at Selhurst Park, Arsenal were absolutely rampant, running out 5-1 winners. Ominously for Crystal Palace, the Eagles have shipped five goals in both of their last two Premier League away games, against Manchester City and Newcastle, and also conceded five on their most recent league visit to the Emirates, back in January of last year.

Sportsbook CopyBet are offering odds of 21/5 that Arteta’s side give Oliver Glasner’s men another miserable evening, by scoring four or more against them on Wednesday.

Arsenal have only tasted defeat once at home in the league this season, losing 1-0 against West Ham back in February, and as you’d expect, they are firm favourites to rack up another three points from this fixture. A home win is 38/100, the draw is 7/2 and an away victory for Crystal Palace is 15/2.

Palace have failed to pick up a single point from any of their last three league away games, but they did put together a very impressive run of results on the road between mid-January and the end of February when they recorded five consecutive 2-0 victories in all competitions. Another 2-0 triumph for the Eagles is a lengthy 40/1.

At a time when Arsenal have been missing a recognised number nine, midfielders Leandro Trossard and Mikel Merino have chipped in with some very useful goals in recent weeks. Merino has netted in three of the North Londoners’ last four home games and is 13/8 to get on the scoresheet again here. Trossard bagged a brace against Ipswich on the weekend and scored in the Gunners’ recent draw at Everton. The Belgian is 9/2 to be first scorer against Crystal Palace tonight.
