2026 World Cup games at Levi’s Stadium
Levi’s Stadium will play host to its first World Cup game on 13th June in Group B, as Qatar take on Switzerland. On 20th June and 26th June, the stadium will play host to two Group D fixtures as Paraguay take on Australia and then Turkey at the home of the NFL’s San Francisco 49ers.
On 17th June and 23rd June, two Group J fixtures will take place at the Santa Clara venue before one round of 32 fixture on 2nd July. That will be the final game of the tournament to be played at this particular arena with no slated Round of 16, quarter-final, semi-final or final fixtures.

Levi’s Stadium History
Having been open for over 10 years now, Levi’s Stadium has provided a home for the San Francisco 49ers of the NFL and played host to Super Bowl 50 in 2016 and will have played host to Super Bowl 60 in the months leading up to this World Cup.
The stadium has played host to some of the biggest names in pop music, including Taylor Swift, Beyonce and Ed Sheeran, and although not regularly used for football, the inaugural game at this arena took place in Major League Soccer in 2014, as San Jose Earthquakes beat Seattle Sounders 1-0 to open the stadium.
Since then, the ground has played host to the Quakes on a handful of occasions and was also one of the venues for the Copa America Centenario, playing host to Chile’s famous 7-0 demolition of Mexico in the quarter-final of the 2016 tournament.
A raft of pre-season friendlies and International Champions Cup games have also been played at the stadium, which has hosted CONCACAF Gold Cup fixtures and was again one of the venues for the 2024 Copa America, where Brazil drew 1-1 with Colombia in the group stages.
The stadium is known for including a large percentage of fans within the lowest tiers, creating a more intimate atmosphere than most American stadiums.
