The summer window opens in June, but that doesn’t mean transfers are not being finalised or concluded.
In fact, we’ve already seen a number of players cementing where they will be playing in the forthcoming campaign, it’s natural with all focus on title races and various Uefa competitions you might have missed those acquisitions.

1. Lars Stindl

It’s fair to say Lars Stindl is winding down his career. The former 11-time capped German international has spent the last eight seasons at Bundesliga outfit Borussia Mönchengladbach where he made over 200 league appearances. Before this lengthy stint, Stindl spent time at Hannover 96, whom he joined from boyhood club Karlsruher SC where he returns this summer. Stindl will be dropping back to Germany’s second division as Karlsruher currently find themselves middle of the Bundesliga 2 table.
2. Pontus Jansson

Another player returning home is Pontus Jansson who leaves Brentford for Malmö. The former Leeds United centre-back made nearly 100 league appearances for the Swedish outfit before relocating to Serie A where he represented Torino across two seasons.

Earmarked as a future mainstay of Ecuardor’s national team Willian Pacho is making a major step up in a burgeoning career. The 21-year-old defender leaves Belgian side Royal Antwerp for top-10 Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt.
4. Thomas van den Belt
From: PEC Zwolle
To: Feyenoord
Barring a major collapse Feyenoord should be crowned as this season’s Eredivisie champions. An incredible achievement given the number of important players who left the club last summer. The powers that be can expect more potential raids so it makes sense for them to focus on rebuilding this early. Thomas van den Belt, consequently, will be part of Feyenoord’s midfield options during their 2023/24 campaign.

A journey that started before the minimum continues as Nene, a one-time West Ham player, recently joined Juventude on loan. Since leaving the Hammers in 2015 he’s exclusively played in his native Brazil with Vasco da Gama, São Paulo and Fluminense.
6. Sylvester Jasper
After the season's end, @SylJasper will join Portimonense on a permanent deal. ??

It never quite worked out for Sylvester Jasper at Fulham where he only made three senior appearances spanning 11 minutes. Jasper, who has been on loan at Bristol Rovers this season, is now set to join Portimonense.
7. Joao Pedro
From: Watford
To: Brighton
Europe is calling for Brighton which means Roberto De Zerbi’s squad needs bolstering. Chances of retaining key players, such as Moisés Caicedo and Alexis Mac Allister, remain to be seen. Spreading out the goals as they fight on multiple fronts will be key to continuing their growth. Signs are good as Watford striker Joao Pedro is reportedly set to join them in a club-record deal
