Renato Sanches has arrived in Lille ahead of completing his expected move from Bayern Munich.
The 22-year-old Portuguse midfielder joined the Bavarian giants from boyhood club Benfica in 2016 for a reported €35m but struggled for regular playing time.

Since relocating to Germany, Sanches has made a total of 53 appearances, under two different managers, as well as enjoying a loan spell at Swansea City.
Competition for midfield places in Munich has subsequently often sidelined Sanches.
With a view to the future and his personal development, the Amadora-born footballer publicly aired grievances following Bayern’s opening-week draw against Hertha Berlin.

During that encounter Sanches made a five-minute cameo.
“Of course I’m disappointed, it’s the second time the club has not let me go,” he told reporters. “Five minutes is not enough for me.”
Sanches got his wish after Bayern and Ligue 1 high-flyers Lille reached an agreement that reportedly sees the Bundesliga powerhouse receive a reported €25m.
The much-talked about midfielder was spotted arriving in France before undergoing a medical, which if successful sees him sign a five-year contract.

Lille finished second in Ligue 1 last season and will therefore take part in the 2019/20 Champions League. They opened the new season with a 1-0 defeat to Amiens.
