Paris Saint-Germain will be looking to collect another piece of silverware at the 2025 Fifa Club World Cup.
The indomitable French side made a clean sweep of domestic honours, winning Ligue 1 easily and taking home both the Coupe de France and Trophee des Champions titles. Luis Enrique’s men also became European champions after beating Inter Milan in the Champions League final.
It was their strong Champions League performances that earned PSG a ticket to the revamped Club World Cup; the Parisians qualified as one of the best-ranked Uefa teams based on the four-year ranking.

As Group B winners, PSG faced Group A runners-up Inter Miami in the last 16. And, perhaps more importantly in terms of narrative, they faced Lionel Messi. But Messi’s Inter Miami were no match for the European champions, who did all the damage in the first half of their 4-0 win. Joao Neves scored twice with Achraf Hakimi also getting on the scoresheet alongside an own goal.
