Things are looking pretty positive for Manchester City this weekend with Phil Foden being the only player unavailable to Guardiola, with the midfielder continuing his recuperation following appendix surgery.
With a clean bill of health for the rest of the squad, it remains to be seen if the same starting XI will line up this weekend as took to the field against Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Guardiola did speak about his sides game in hand on Arsenal at the top of the Premier League though.
“The reality is we are six points behind. There is no guarantee that we will win the game in hand against the best team in the world in Brighton. There is no team better in modern football to bring the ball from the keeper to the last quarter.
“Then we have Arsenal at home. There is no guarantee. To be close, we need to win. When the games are tied, we will see the reality.”
