Man Utd vs Tottenham predicted line-ups and team news
Manchester United and Tottenham get back to Premier League action this weekend after midweek matches in the Europa League.
Man Utd vs Tottenham predicted lineups
Man Utd (4-2-3-1): Onana; Mazraoui, De Ligt, Martinez, Dalot; Ugarte, Mainoo; Amad, Fernandes, Rashford; Zirkzee.
Tottenham (4-3-3): Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie; Kulusevski, Bentancur, Maddison; Johnson, Solanke, Son.
The teams will meet at Old Trafford on Sunday 29th September and the match will be shown on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League, with kick-off scheduled for 16:30 BST.
The teams have both made a mixed start to the new league season with each having seven points from their first five games.
Tottenham are one position above United due to their superior goal difference as they head into the weekend Premier League programme in 10th place.
The Red Devils are unbeaten in four games but are coming off frustrating draws against Crystal Palace and FC Twente in their last two matches, while Spurs are on a three-game winning run after beating Brentford 3-1 in the league last Saturday and Qarabag 3-0 in the Europa League on Thursday night.
Ten Hag unhappy with United’s Europa League effort
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag was unhappy with his team’s effort level after they opened their campaign in the new-look Europa League league phase with a disappointing 1-1 home draw against FC Twente.

United were on track to start with a win and led 1-0 at half-time thanks to a Christian Eriksen goal, but Sam Lammers equalised for the Dutch team after 68 minutes and the hosts were unable to get back on top despite winning the shot count 19-7.
Ten Hag said: “They fought for every yard and we didn’t. And 99 per-cent is not enough, you have to give 100 per-cent.
“I saw in many games how high our work rate is and that is often very good. But today I have some criticism.
“You have to kill the game, especially if you know we have some problems with scoring goals and if you have a goal you need to be consistent in your game,” said the United manager.
Man Utd vs Tottenham team news
Marcus Rashford could start for Manchester United against Tottenham after coming on as a substitute in last week’s goalless Premier League draw at Crystal Palace.
The England forward had scored three goals in his previous two games but was unable to get back on the scoresheet when starting in the Europa League draw against Twente.
Joshua Zirkzee is set to continue up front with Rasmus Hojlund still coming back from a hamstring injury.
Uruguayan midfielder Manuel Ugarte seems likely to make his first Premier League start for United after a couple of substitute appearances.
Christian Eriksen and Alejandro Garnacho look the likely candidates to drop to the bench, while Leny Yoro, Victor Lindelof, Luke Shaw, and Tyrell Malacia remain out with injuries.
Tottenham are still missing injured duo Richarlison and Wilson Odobert but are likely to field a largely unchanged line-up from the one that dismissed Brentford last week in the league.
Manager Ange Postecoglou said he expects Heung-Min Son and Archie Gray to be fine after taking knocks against Qarabag, while Brennan Johnson’s half-time substitution in that match was tactical rather than injury-related.
